No, thank you Minnesota department of revenue!
For those of you who don't know, Newman day is a glorious celebration of one of more famous alumi, give you one guess... Paul Newman! In order to honor the day he recieved his first academy award, March 30, every year on this day the Kenyon Campus comes together and has an uprorious good time. The tradition, for those who choose this path, is for a person to drink 24 beers in twenty four hours, beginning on midnight of the thirtieth. Most people choose not to go this route, and the tradition is mostly upheld by the frat boys and the mentally ill. For the rest of us, this day is for relaxtion and to appreciate the place where we live and learn and love, Kenyon College. Now, as I do not drink I will not be talking about myself in the following, but instead I am referencing a "friend" of mine who has just completely one of the best days she's had in a damn long while.
It began by waking up around 9:30 and rushing to complete an essay by 3. No a herculean task, but a bit of a burden, especially when the weather is utterly beautiful! Essay finished, went outside to relax with people whom are adored, and then after turning in the essay a good hour was spent up on the roof of the dorm with a cold one.
I've just realized I don't want to write anymore, but maybe I will later, if I feel like it.
