Because rule 34 says so
Everyone already knows rule 34: If it exists, there is porn of it. There are no exceptions.
Let's discuss crack pairings. I love them, both as gleefully demented but entertaining cracktastic stories or serious fic with inventive, thoughtful reasoning supporting the pairing.
Some of my favorites are:
Naruto: Shikamaru/Kankuro. I know, Shikamaru has an implied canon pairing with Temari (love them as well!) and Kankuro belongs with... um... his puppets. I'm not sure why I have such a soft spot for Kankuro: maybe it's him being the middle, overlooked child between assertive Temari and scary-as-fuck Gaara; or maybe it was his manga fight with Sasori that caught my attention. Either way, he has to be smart: his puppets require him to out-trap and manipulate his enemies. Shikamaru would appreciate that in his character along with his more laid-back (well, compared to his siblings) attitude in general.
Bleach: Shuuhei/Uryuu. Often, all it takes is a picture of two characters together, and a pairing is born. Based on that theory, I offer you this:
They are both intelligent, strategic fighters who (usually) keep their cool during battle, tend to be more sober, serious individuals and have daddy issues a highly developed set of principles and morals. Plus, they look pretty together. *g* The added picture of Ichimaru just breaks my brain!
Aizen/Shuuhei. I've written it before, and I'll do it again. Yeah, it's either non-con or dub-con unless you go waaaaaay AU, but I'm a sucker for power and control issues between characters. In that case you could choose Aizen/just about anyone, but I like Shuuhei's involvement because 1)it's hot :D and 2)Shuuhei has a (surface) cooler, more restrained personality that Aizen might find more enjoyable to play with. Besides, there's so much one can do with Aizen's illusion-powers in a story. Weiss Kreuz: the whole damn series is crack, so it should come as no surprise that many of the pairings are as well! But the crackiest for me is Nagi/Mamoru/Schuldig or just Mamoru/Schuldig. I very much resisted this at first, but crazily convincing people like daegaer and lady_ganesh keep reeling me in.
