(no subject)
I'm starting to get thoroughly annoyed with my computer. I can't use LJ at all anymore (I'm writing this from work). I tried yesterday, it took ten minutes to load a profile page and another ten minutes to manage to close it. During that time I couldn't do anything else with the stupid machine. And it gave me some weird error message about failed bookmark synch, even if I hadn't even tried to do anything like that. It's dying. I guess I'll have to try and see if I could get some computer money from my relatives when I finish my school.
Otherwise life is going well enough. It's not too summery yet, although we are getting there, and I like watching everything turning green and flowery. I'm not in too much pain, either. Even the snakes appear to be quite content, although it's a bit difficult to tell with them. Their last feeding dragged a bit too late and Ankh almost bit my nose in her attempt to get to the rat - which wasn't anywhere near my nose, but it's not like her aim hasn't been off before - but now they are fed and thus probably satisfied. Although I have to say that Ankh did a fairly good goa'uld-impression with the attempted attack, her mouth is frighteningly big when seen from stright ahead and mere inches away and she was fast enough I didn't even have time to withdraw my head. I don't know if that kind of reflexes are even possible. Luckily for my nose she couldn't quite reach me :)
