It's kind of ridiculous how light it is outside all the time at this time of year. There has been no such moment during this whole night when I couldn't tell the time from an unlit clock tower a block over. It hasn't been too dark to even read things without turning on lights (well, perhaps if the things are very, very tiny). The sky hasn't been properly dark at any point, the light just has circled to the other horizon and the sun will come up again in less than an hour. Less than five hours between sunset and sunrise is not enough, I need my darkness! Much better when it's five hours between sunrise and sunset... It's no wonder I don't get enough sleep during the weeks, too often I fail to realize it's even actual evening before I've already stayed up too late.
