Thanks Greg! Good luck on your test!

Thanks Dan!

Dan, the only books you need (buy them on Amazon.com) are:

"Examkrackers MCAT Complete Study Guide" by Jonathan Orsay.

"Examkrackers 101 Passages in MCAT Verbal Reasoning" by David Orsay

&, for an extra bit of excellent physics review "The MCAT Physics Book" by Garrett Biehle.

Anything else - and ANY prep course for that matter - would be a waste of time and money in my opinion. With the aforementioned books, you'll be able to study on your own as long as you are diligent about it.

There are real online practice MCAT exams on www.e-mcat.com. In my month of study time I didn't really do any of them...but you may find them useful. I just didn't have the patience to sit down and take a 5 1/2 hour practice test. The questions/passages in the Examkrackers books sufficed.

Forget looking through old textbooks like orgo, etc. I found it to be a complete waste of time. You might want to look over the first section of the Bear Neuroscience book though, as it explains neurophysiology very well (although I'm sure you have that stuff down by now). All you need to know is in the books I mentioned above.

Just be sure to give yourself 2-3 months at the very least to prepare. I only had a month, and I was studying for ridiculous amounts of time each day. The exam consumed my summer, and that sucked.

The MCAT is a horrible experience, but I'm sure with adequate preparation you will destroy it.
