been over a week! uh ohhh
so since i last updated, sunday night after work I went over brooke's (from work) and hung out with her and josh and a few other people, it was pretty low-key but definitely an enjoyable time.
then monday I worked in the morning (lameeeee), then came home, napped around, and completely cleaned my apartment for gwen and jaime.
tuesday they both flew innnn from san diego, and it was sosososososo nice. we drove down the scenic route on PCH to huntington and spent the afternoon at the beach, then came back to the place, got SONIC which i had never had before; pretty cool and tasty. then went back and settled in considering neither of them had slept much at all.
wednesday we went down to Laguna beach, sun bathed all day, and eventually after a bunch of traffic got back to the apt. then we went to hollywood, walked the strip, ate at Uwink, checked out some stores (and the girls, in their addiction to XXI lavished themselves with some clothes ;) ) and we left a little while after.
thursday the girls wanted to go to disney, but in my short finances and the fact that i had to work that night, i had to pass. they both left for the day, i picked up the apartment and eventually went to work; it was ok, prettty typical and kinda boring. made 80 bucks, then gwen and jaime came in and got food, and i paid for it considering they shouldn't have had to, with ANYTHING for that matter! then we went back to the apartment, had some drinky drinks, watched step brothers and scary movie3, and hung outttt.
fridayy we went back to huntington and walked the strip, ate at ruby's, made it back to the car and went to the apartment and hung out. then eventually we went to PF Changs in downtown disney, we all got dressed up and everything, it was cute :) then we headed back, and watched some tv then went to beddd. it was a fantastic night.
saturday we went BACK to huntington, again (haha), found a spot despite the outrageous amount of people there, swam a litttttle bit and chilled out all day, then came back to the apartment. we had some drinks again, watched tv and hung out, then jaime tried getting some sleep, but gwen and I trooped it. we stayed up til we had to leave around 3, packed everything up and shipped back down to SD for their 6:15 flight. we said our goodbyes unfortunately, and they were gone seemingly as soon as they had come; the phrase "time flies when you're having fun" holds itself very, very true in this instance.
I wish they couldve stayed, it was such a nice break from the sleep eat work routine that i've grown so accustomed to. i really enjoyed them coming out, and i hope they can make it back sometime in the near future, or anytime for that matter. it was just, absolutely wonderful.
other than that, i slept a few hours once i got back form the airport around 7 or 8, played basketball with the guys, and went to work at 3:30. I was SA'ing, nothing special, a decent shift and went by pretty quick. then we had a nice 10/11 player poker game at my apartment. unfortunately i lost about 20 bucks, but it was all in good fun and i was down around 70/80 bucks at one point so i couldnt complain. it was a fun night.
then today i ran and picked up the apartment, ran an errand or two, and worked at 3:45. I left by 6:30, and it wasn't even that slow. butttt i made 55 bucks on 6 tables after tipout in 3 hours, so i cant complain. after that, i went out and played a quick couple games of bball, came home and talked to gwen for a while, then went out to brandon's for poker (again). i stopped at in n out first, delicious by the way. and it was fun, only 7 people, but it lasted a few hours and i won 65 of the 105 in play, so a good night overall. brandon went to the casino after and invited me, but a 2 hour drive at 2:30 in the morning with this much fatigue didn't sound all that enticing to me, so i didn't go. i drove Tate to get some jack in the box cuz he was aching for some JITB breakfast, then i got him home and went home myself. now here i am typing this!!
