I am a horrible person and I do not deserve to be alive! But it's not my fault, honestly! I hate Christmas, okay? It's just another occassion where people I don't really see very often buy me stuff I don't really like and then I have to spend my own money, buying them something of the same value, which ultimately means I paid for the crappy gift

I already know one thing I might definately be getting for XMas.

I think carnivorous plants are awesome. I dunno how a vegetarian like yourself would veiw them..because they eat meat...but...ARE VEGETABLES IN THEMSELVES! Nature's greatest irony. I just have absolutely adored them and wanted one sincce 3rd grade. And now I might get one, and the wiat for them coupled with the wait for finding out what you got juts might do me in.

I don't think I'd be very excited about a shoe, maybe two shoes, but one shoe alone is not very useful, unless to plant a plant. And on the subject of planting plants, I'm not actually a vegetarian, I'm a vegan, which is something quite different, and I think raising a plant to eat flies is a strange incentive that I do not care much for.

Aw darn, I hope I didn't insult you or anything. Sometimes I just open my mouth and type without thinking.
I have always just loved odd plants, and venus flytraps are odd, you have to admit. Someday I want to grow lots of crazy plants and study them...I guess. I just find those things so interesting..Morbid little me I guess. Plants are my favorite kind of friends, because you talk to them and they never argue back. And apparently they actually do grow better if you talk to them, and it doesnt even have to be nice talk either. You can yell and call them stupid and tell them you hate them and they still grow bigger than they would in solitary confinement. True story.

I wasn't really insulted as such, I just do not think much for raising a plant solely to consume bugs.And sure, I do like odd things, and venus fly traps are pretty incredible, but it just seems a little sadistic to want to grow one to watch it eat bugs. And it sounds like you're fast becomming a mad botanist, who will have rooms full of plants and forever condensated windows! It would be fun, and a bit creepy too.

I used to play my recorder to my sunflowers in hope they would grow tall and magnificent.

Make the sunflowers grow bigger? Then they might just take over the world! You would have an army of sunflowers all under your recorderish control! I like plants that are bigger than me like sunflowers and corn. They make me feel happy.
Being a botanist sounds lovely fun to me, and man, I am going to have a rockin' house with lots of rockin' plants!

Sunflowers are lovely, especially huge ones with thick stems that are like tree trunks.
