We recently bought a letter game called Bananagrams, and while the main game isn't too bad, we came up with a separate use for the
144 letter tiles. We added 1 six-sided die, and the gameplay is simple: roll the die, add 2, and take that number of letter tiles. Put the letters in any order, and create a sentence from words that have those letters as their initials. YGTI (you get the idea).
For our inaugural run, we came up with:
The enigmatic old elephant trampled, while nine bears ran, and eleven yellow apes jumped into the ocean.
This ruckus occurred in perfect unison near sunset.
Dolphins gladly enjoyed xylophone opera. They kept mellow throughout evening.
Other animals remained riled, from previous excitement. An earthquake initiated their nervous night.
The day after that, Ishmael came. Now animal questing ensued.
Uninitiated Ish remained ignorant on locating inventory.
"Dear God!" voice a frustrated Ish "Zero animals?"
Xylophoning dolphins, gone! Even extremely stripey zebras evaded view. No lions for Ish.
"Bring Your Own Menagerie? Ridiculous!"
"Relax. Keep Calm. We'll have new herds. Eventually, Ishmael, you CAN locate escaped animals. And start...how?
Ruminating, Ish drove east. A visionary animal plan unwound.
"Enlist Others! Everyone loves animals! Brilliant strategy!
One loves one's work."
Questing energy unflagging, others saved day!
New job saved, unleashed menagerie united, Ish got raise.
