Toothed or serrated wrack (Fucus serratus) on a small bit of beach in Cheticamp harbour.

I purchased a bird guide for my iPhone 1.5wk ago, iBird Explorer Pro, which includes bird calls in its repertoire of features... and it's been great for pulling birds in for a closer look (or simply revealing that they're in the area at all). I set up by a marsh along Beaver Creek and lured in this yellow-rumped warbler (Dendroica coronata) for a couple shots... and in the past two weeks of work have compiled a nice list of sightings in/around the Park. I'll post the list to the written portion of my livejournal later.

My friend/coworker recommended a nice photo site for me to check out on my way home; an abandoned mill in North River; so I made sure to check it out, and was nicely rewarded (thanks Rosie). I took a number of shots today, but only one could be my pic of the day ;)
