It's pollen feeding time on the ol' calliphorid fly ranch. We provide only the best coltsfoot for our blow flies to grow them big, hairy and healthy.
Technical facts:
.: I reduce my images to about 1/3 their original size (down to 1024x685), the detail image is only reduced by about 100px from the original size of the crop.
.: I almost never crop my images to get a better frame or to enhance a macro effect. This is an extension of my aversion to post processing and endeavouring to capture exactly what I want with the camera rather than repairs.
