Cosplay ramblings: Tifa
Getting your hands on a supply of workable pleather is harder than I thought :/ ESPECIALLY IF YOU LIVE IN THE SOUTHEASTERN CORNER OF ENGLAND.
Found something on the internet, but it's shipping/buying system confuses me (have I actually bought it? TELL ME). It costs about what I'd expect though, and the rest of the materials I can get cheap, so yeaaaaaaah.
Costs:
- The Expensive Shit: Black Pleather; Wig; Contacts, Makeup (possibly)
- The Cheap Shit: White Stretch Material; Imitation Converses; Ribbons; Buttons; Black Acrylic Wool
- The Time-Expensive Stuff: Knitting the Butt-Skirt; Making the Shorts/Shirts/Apron
THANK GOD I GAVE MYSELF OVER A MONTH THIS TIME (also really REALLY happy I have two days off a week as well as weekends to get this and homestudy done). Price-wise, between San and Fina; effort-wise, probably more than Fina, way more than San.
Decided not to worry over the weight-gain from the last year, as it's given me the tits for this costume :D
Social lives, PFFFFT, who needs them :p
(Also need to discuss with S and K hotels etc - NEED KNOW BY BEGINNING OF OCTOBER)
