Stretches

Lately, I've been getting stabbing aches and pains in my legs and arms; given how many hours of my free time are spent in front of my pc, it's a no-brainer as to the cause. One scary article about blood clots and a Google search later, I came across this site ( Read more... )

I don't know of any, but I'm going to keep this one open in a tab to remind me to do some stretches if I'm sitting here too long. I can't do the treadmill like I used to because of my bad back, but sometimes I get on the treadmill at a medium-slow walking pace just for ten minutes or so to warm up the muscles, and then I do a full stretch routine. Stretching works better when the muscles are already warm, but too often, I don't do it at all, and that's not good. This one I could do whenever I find I'm sitting here too long. I tried all the stretches, and they felt good.

Thanks for the link.

Oh, this is a site I'd never come across. It's always been stressed to me to stress after every PT session, but they never say how. (gee, thanks, Doctor) Has it been helping for you?

Oh, um, this is Anna, by the way. I'm slowly trying to use LJ and saw your site. LOVE king Daniel! LOL

Hi, darling! Yes, the exercises have helped. I'm not getting the pains in my legs and my right hand doesn't ache so much when I've overdone it with the mouse. Very happy to hear they've worked for you.

Note to self: wander over to Anna's lj and catch up on her plot to take over the fannish world activities! :-)
