The News Update....
While at work Friday night, the gemstone of my ring fell out sometime during my shift. It was a purple tanzanite, and now it's gone. :( Normally I'm not one to get upset over materialistic things, but that ring truly meant a lot to me; it was given to me by Mom and Erin as a combination present for my 18th Birthday and college graduation last year. :( I'd been having a really shitty day and had been feeling nausea and spasmic cramps for several hours during my shift (Midol wore off a few hours before expected)... then the tanzanite fell out of my ring somewhere in the store.
Mom, Erin and some of my co-workers helped me look for it, but it was no use... it's gone. :( It was so incredibly sweet of them to help me, and I thanked them profusely.
Now, in other news... More specifically "wedding" news.... lol
- It looks like Grandma's wedding has been canceled again. >_< Gah! I wish those two would NOT think for once and just tie the knot! It's obvious how much those two love each other-- you can see it in their eyes when one watches the other without them noticing. When George looks at Grandma, his eyes just light up. It's truly touching to see them together.
- Nathan and Marian sent me a wedding invitation. :) I'm going to see if there's any chance I can fly up for the wedding this October. Not sure it will be possible, but I'll definitely try my best to do so.
And yet again, in OTHER news...
- My friend Russell has been trying to help me understand the basics of Microeconomics. He's probably going to need to take a sledgehammer and bash the information it into my skull to really make me understand it, lol. :) Thank you, Russell... I really do appreciate your help!
- The camera is working beeeeaaaaaaaaaauutifully! Erin's just as addicted to using it as I am, hah!
- Schroeder is so cute. :)
