Perhaps she can similarly understand some Italian. You could try saying, "Non c'é una cosa che si chiama un "Morag." É il mio nome." Which means roughly that there is no such thing as a Morag and that it's your name.
You could always look up key words in a bilingual dictionary. You don't need to have cognitive knowledge of every single word in a sentence in order to get the gist of it, after all.
