Since I joined portusicons, I need to have a nice list of resources somewhere, so...here it is. Some of these have unfortunately disappeared, but unless I figure out where they are now, I'd rather have credit to a dead journal than no credit at all.

Journals and communities where I use or post graphics (this entry is linked in the userinfo of all journals that I maintain, and in every graphics post I make):

portusicons - The icon community where I post my graphics. I share it with reia and joraina, though it's mostly me spamming the crap out of it nowadays.

wildthyme - My main LJ for updates about my life and so on.
anjerla - This journal. I mainly use it for writing and photos. And posting in communities. I don't know why.

Brushes and Textures:

Some of these links and journals may be dead like dying dead things. I saved all the original journal and community names, and sometimes they change or get moved around. I can't always keep track, but do let me know if you noticed that I missed you.

Note: Although some photographs I use in icons are mine and I explain when that is the case, many of them are not. I try to take my own screencaps as much as possible, but sometimes I'm unable to. I'm afraid I've lost track of all the places that I've found photos for icons, so this list will never be complete, but I've begun to save the sites I use, and do my best to find all the ones I've used in the past.

Also, I make all my own Daily Show and Colbert Report screencaps. However, this is a great resource for TCR caps. Sadly I do not know of any Daily Show equivalent, but please let me know if there's something you're looking for, I might be able to help. :)

Annon nan Galadh - Good Lord of the Rings screencaps, and if you just go to nightly-whispers.com, she also has some nice brushes.
Artless - I got some Mulan screencaps from this site, though they seem to be gone now. Oy. Also check out loramir, her livejournal.
Can't Take the Sky - Firefly caps
cap_it - I usually take my own screencaps, but when I don't, this is where I find them.
cap_it - Finding Nemo - The entry where I snagged half a zillion Finding Nemo screencaps (I'm way too lazy to make them myself).
cap_it - Mulan - Entry in cap_it that links to Mulan screencaps
Craftymonkie.com or pixation - This is a good resource for screencaps. When I used them last, I snagged some from Beauty and the Beast. They don't seem to be there anymore but there are some other good movies.
CuteOverload - Cutest pictures ever!! Of course.
Disney-Dreams.net - Lots of Disney screencps. Hurrah!
Freenaturephotos.org - A good stock photography source. The photos are a little small, but pretty nonetheless, and they're fine for icon-making.
NarniaWeb - This is a good resource for Narnia news and for various promotional pictures. It doesn't have good screencaps, but, again, there are lots of high-res promo pics.
The Schemer and the Dreamer - Road to El Dorado pics.
The View From Here - Beautiful nature pictures.

This list will grow as I go on, and it will be updated on a regular basis.
