[my can't-sleep post for the week]
Yeah, it's 3:15 and I'm still awake. Yes, I still have class in the morning. Go figure. x_x This is what happens when I leave a paper for the night before and then drink caffeine to make sure I can stay awake long enough to finish it.
So, since it is 3:15, these shall be random thoughts of utter randomness, in no particular discernible order.
1. Kant. Kant Kant Kant. That's what I wrote my paper on. I found him pretty comprehensible, actually, which was interesting since nobody else in the class seemed to. I guess this is what happens when you spend so much time working on your left-brain. Nietzsche is pretty understandable too, and Descartes was as well, but Kierkegaard is breaking my brain. Then again, so did the Bible, so I shouldn't really be surprised about that.
b. So. Addicted. To. Stuff. I bought all 7 volumes of FAKE and read them all in about two days flat. ♥!!!! Also, am hooked on Okane ga Nai and I WANT MORE, dammit. Have started watching both Meine Liebe and Ouran High School Host Club, and I love them both, and they're different enough that I always have something I'm in the mood for. Plus, have been acquiring drama CDs, which is always awesome. The seiyuu love grows every day. *basks in Renai Kyoutei for the moment*
iii. I have had no brainpower left over for fic lately, which is sad because I have, like, twelve of them in the works. Hopefully I'll have time to work on them when I'm at home. (FTR, this includes a massive Tezuka/Fuji, a chaptered Atobe/Oshitari, a massive Tezuka/Atobe, a fumbly InuKai, a ridiculous crackfic with pairings as of yet undetermined but featuring Inui and Fuji at least, and an odd and unexpected Yukimura/Yanagi. Also possibly a Kanou/Ayase.)

four. Oh yeah. I'm flying out on Friday to go to Atlanta for nongenius's wedding, and then I'm going to visit my parents for a week. I spent last birthday on the road between Toronto and Chicago, alone, which was pretty depressing, and I didn't really want to spend it alone again this year, especially since I'm turning 25. So I'll be with them this year. I should be around somewhat, perhaps, once I get done with everything I need to finish, but until then I'm pretty much AWOL. Still reachable by email though, and LJ comments.
go. Graduation is this Friday. I'm singing in the choir for it, which is nice since I haven't had time for choir in years, never mind the opportunity. Also, lots of people leaving. Kinda sad. :( But then, I'm looking forward to the new influx in September.
