Home again, home again
Hey, all. Am home from my trip, and exhausted, so I apologise if I owe you comments and the like -- it'll have to wait until I'm not qwertybrowing. Also, I owe you guys an update, I'm sure, so I'll try and do that...sometime. Yes. >.>
People to thank:
•starrysummer for being a lovely travelling companion and keeping me company for two and a half weeks!! That takes talent right there. *snerk*
•nassima (and hubby) for being amazing tour guides in Aix, for the best dinner I had the whole trip (and possibly the whole year), and for being so amazing I thought I was going to grin myself to death. ♥
•ishtar79 for showing us around Athens and knowing how to speek Greek, as we would've been quite lost otherwise. Also for being generally awesome.
•pitchblackrose for accompanying me on the makeshift tour of London, for providing very enjoyable conversation, for giving us the Snape's Pub experience, for being so gorgeous she distracted me from being homesick, and for giving up thesis-writing time to show me what t00b love is all about.
•rosie_red73 for being my V, for putting up with my crap, for talking to me for hours and hours and hours on end (and cor I can't remember the last time I did that), for mothering me and making me sleep, and for being a truly fantastic end to a really great trip.
Also, to spifftastic, charlotteschaos, and lelek for keeping me entertained with RP and chattiness (and for putting up with my sporadic net access!), to chriek, lauriegilbert, marksykins, and cjmarlowe for the diverting emails and/or conversation when I needed it most, and to seshat1, lizardspots, and all the other t00by sort who offered to meet up; even though it didn't work out this time 'round, I really appreciate it, and hope to be able to give it another shot in the near future. ♥
Now I am knackered, so I'm off. I hope you all are doing well. I've missed you. :-*
