1. Oh cor, it is fucking miserable outside. Freezing rain and lots of ice. Man am I glad I don't have class today. >.<
2. Saw Shaun of the Dead last night, finally. (Thank you, Seph, for making me watch it.) OMG SO FUNNY I think I busted something laughing so hard. If you've not seen it, I highly recommend it -- it's this gorgeous sarcastic comedy and it's just so very...I dunno. British? *snerk* 's especially funny if you've seen a fair number of zombie/undead movies in the past.
3. Am working on a project today. Have to teach a class tomorrow worth 20% of my final grade, and it's the first week of it in the class so I have no precedents. This is good and bad, and I am therefore chewing my lip bloody over it. Still have a fair amount of work to do, but dammit, I will get it done, and I will rock at it.
4. As an aside, because of the topic of the class I am teaching, I will also be making a spammity post tonight. Yis.
5. Another thing I will be doing tonight: finishing sodding Christmas cards. Yes, I suck, and yes, they are nothing like Christmas cards anymore. BUT on the bright side, you lot will be getting mail completely randomly. :D *hides*
6. I am planning to be a lot more proactive this term, both as far as going out with friends and also doing extracurricular activities. Kind of a shitty term to choose to do it, since it's the last term of my Masters and I'm taking three classes with fairly heavy workloads, but if I'm also proactive about my work, which I am trying to be, then I should be able to manage it. What does this mean to y'all? Probably nothing much. Though I'd imagine I won't be writing as much as I used to. (Ha, not that that means anything, since I've not written much at all in the last few months.) In any case, I have my first dance class this Friday, and then I am also thinking of signing up for bellydance at the local academy and taking South Indian/jazz singing at the college. I was going to do horseback riding as well but I think maybe that should wait til summer.
7. New York folk, I am currently looking into acquiring a ticket to be down there over my spring break. If so, I would fly in on the 19th of February and back a week later, probably. I know loony_moony has my attentions captivated for the evening of the 20th, and I am kidnapping marksykins probably on the Saturday the 25th, is it? for Wicked and other things. Otherwise I didn't have anything specific in mind. Who all is around there?

I was actually thinking of going to London that week, but that didn't pan out so well, since I found out I have things I have to do here on the Saturday, which would cut my travels short by like three days. So I think I'll be there in the summer instead -- my sister is doing study abroad in Spain, and I want to visit her, and possibly go with her to Portugal and/or Greece. We'll see though, as I've no idea what my summer is going to be like yet.
9. I'm graduating in June. Cor. I feel part like I've been here forever and part like I've barely started. I suppose both are accurate, as it's just my Masters and I still have another four years *crosses fingers* for my PhD. I've applied to Toronto for that, and I really hope I get in because I don't want to move. I'm also applying a few other places in the UK, but...I dunno. Shall just have to wait and see, I suppose. As an aside, if anyone is local-ish and wants to come see me graduate in June *snerk* I'll keep you updated with details as I learn them.
