Hello! As some of you may, or may not, know ... one of the MANY games that I play on my PC is
Lord of the Rings Online. Very fun MMORPG (massively multiplayer online role-playing game). Anyway, sooner or later (probably later ... much, MUCH later) ... I'll have regular updates on
my freewebs account.
But tonight is special. They just updated the game with the latest free patch which is entitled Book 11: Defenders of Eriador. One of the MAJOR things was that they have provided us with is HOUSING! Can you believe that! Living in Middle Earth. ROCK ON!!
Anyway, I had promised my fellow kinsmen (we are a Kinship called Minionettes of the Evil Overlord ... and are quite famous in-world) that I'd take pictures of our new kinship house and share them. However, I took SO many, I didn't want to clutter up our forum with so many shots. Therefore, I decided to post the images OFF forum so I could post ALL the pictures in one go without having to worry about people loading them on the forum). Yay me.
Here's our Kinship House located in the Shire (all of these are NIGHT SHOTS).
My lil' hobbit minstrel (Diamonia) looking up at a gorgeous night filled with stars. She's standing at the main gate to the kinship house.
A wideshot of what the house looks like. Ain't it GRAND? Diamonia is still a bit far away to get a really good look, but don't you worry. I make up for that later.
Diamonia has turned around (away from the house) to check out the roadway.
Gotta love those YELLOW RHODODENDRONS. :O)))
One of the kinsmen bought this lovely ... umm ... I think it's a well. :O)) Boy ... Diamonia is definitely a hobbit. :O))
A view from up top.
She's turned back towards the house now.
And now she's approaching ...
She's inside the house now in one of the rooms that holds a storage chest. I could NOT open it ... maybe because there was nothing in there to see? I dunno.
Nothing like warming up by the fireplace. I believe the kinship house has 2 fireplaces ... or was it 3?
Running through the halls ... notice the incline. Hobbit holes are basically nestled in the ground.
Standing at the top of that one run up the hall as she is preparing to enter another hall that will slope downward into the hill.
Well, well, WELL! Who do we have here! It's fellow kinswoman Kethwyn! She was running through one last time before logging off. But before she left ...
... she showed Diamonia the quaint little hobbit hole that she purchased for her own use! If only Diamonia could afford one. But ... she can't at present ... and she's my richest avatar!
This is the main entrance into the neighborhood. Oooooh ... preeeeeeetty ...
These next few shots are some scenery around the neighborhood in which the kinship house rests.
And now some last shots of the kinship house.
I hope you enjoyed the tour as much as I did! Nothing can compare to actually seeing it in-world with your own eyes though.
