Could it be? Fall in South Florida?

Sorry to everyone who already read this on facebook/myspace!

So, as I was walking to class today I noticed, yet again, how lovely the weather was. And again, it made me sad that I had to spend the whole day cooped up inside cold classrooms :(. I never thought of myself as an outdoorsy person (I hate the heat, dirt, and bugs), but it occured to me that some of the best and most memorable times in my life occured during prolonged activities outdoors.

We used to love riding our bikes to the park to play on the super slides and steal bananas from the tree by the lake.

Camping with girlscouts was never dull.

There was our boyscout adventure (complete with pudding slides;))

There was Creation- 4 days in PA spent camping in a woodstock style environment (2 of which were 100 degrees with 10,000% humidity, the other 2 of which it rained).

Our Circle K Haunted Forest where I spent many nights being repeatedly tackled by various frat boys, lol.

There was the 4 days after Hurricane Wilma which I spent with my dad, my borther, and my sister cleaning the yard, riding the tractor, and building campfires where we made smores and my brother entertained us with his guitar at night.

Of course there are various picnics, beach days, disney trips, etc, but these are the things that really emphasize my point here: why the hell can't we have class outdoors? No, seriously though, I miss the days when there was such thing as free time and where said freetime was spent bonding with eachother and the great outdoors. If I can enjoy even some of the most miserable conditions and come away from it with such fond memories, why can't everyone?
