Hair Cut!

We cut off Talon's baby curls this weekend! His little head was getting so hot and sweaty and he was getting those bumps on the back of his neck, so we decided to buzz it all off! I cried at the curls gone but Talon seems much happier. At first I didn't really like it - I think its a little too short, but its all we could do with what we had at home. I want to get a beard trimmer with guards so that I can make it a little longer on top and fade it next time. We just did all over on a 1 this time. Chris has the #1 guard glued to the clippers cus they are broken and that's the only one he uses. The clippers were way to huge for his head and was really hard to get everywhere - we definitely missed spots over the ears. I think a beard trimmer would be perfect for his little cabbage head. Plus he was really really reeeeeally upset during the whole process and I think it would go smoother with a smaller tool.

Oh! And Monday was Labor Day so I went to Khol's with MiMi and I bought Talon's 1st b-day portrait clothes! Chaps brand white heavy dress shirt, blue sweater vest, and khaki pants (real zipper and button! so cute!) - this way I can have 2 looks in the same clothes: white shirt and khakis with no shoes and then dressier all 3 together and some little brown dress shoes. Then my mom bought him a pair of Levi overalls that will be the 3rd outfit, barefoot and shirtless with his little Irish cabbie hat! It will be soooooo cute! Squee!

Anyway, really nothing else to report from the weekend. I cleaned pretty much the whole time. It was rainy and gloomy all weekend :(
