I'm in the fucking Dominican Republic! haha Ive never been out of hte country before. This is totally awesome. Jeff and I are having a kick ass time.
We got in yesterday. mmm Went from having 50 degree weather to pretty much 80 all day/night long. Who can complain, really? Then, added to the fact, where ever we go, booze is being thrown at us, for free and the food here is outrageous. And, free, since we're staying at one of those All Inclusive places here. mmm I love DR! Must come! Every year. Twice! Infact.!!!
The water is so damn blue and clear, it frightens me some. It's pure and untainted and I wonder what it'll be like in 40 years down the road. ANd the people are wicked friendly. Although, they do speak an entirely different language. For all I know, they're staying Hola and then laughing at me behind my back. I've decided to say hola to everyone and everything, since pretty much 90% of the guest and employees do not utter 1% of english. They say Hola and then how are you? You say Hi Coma Estas and then! They answer is such rapid and thick spanish youre standing there with drool hanging out of your mouth from your IQ dropping at an even faster speed in which they talked. Unbelievable.
I'll update more soon. I've no idea what time it is. Jeff left his watch at home, because he figured he wouldnt need it. And, we're an hour ahead of everyone on the east coast. They dont believe in Day Light savings time here. So, they dont fall back or spring forward. But! It's awesome, none the less. :)
