French blues
wednesday 17th october and thursday 18th, there is going to be a huge general transport strike in Paris. which means near impossibility to move around the city these two days.
usually i wouldn't complain, i totally support the right to defend yourself through trade unions, and if i were a state worker i certainly would join in.
the only thing is, BabyShambles are currently here in Paris to promote their new album. they're doing tv shows and instores these two days. also, the wednesday night, i'd been planning for a long time to go to this club night, where my mates Good Shoes are playing, and i'm supposed to meet up with friends who are coming over from London. in short, i was supposed to get to work all day, then run around at full speed across town to get from one place to the other in order to catch up with everyone. this is going to seriously put a dampener on proceedings.
sorry for that, i just felt i had to releave my sorrow to like-minded souls.
