- France is moving on a vote to pass a ban on burqa wearing. The strange thing is, an hour ago, Xinhua news said they have already passed the ban. I am just going to await more news on this. While it seems that most of Europe is for the ban, claiming various reasons ranging from security issues to segregation of the population, it seems that there are people wondering if this impinges on a person's right to practise their religion (which, when they practise, includes the use of a burqa).
