we're off on our holiday this friday so i've been trying to do some work in the garden/house as necessary. once school starts i will barely have time to cast a glance on the chore list

happy niu year to you too! you're such an accomplished knitter! i never got past making a scarf and a beanie... what do you do when you knit? do you knit and watch tv, knit and talk or just knit? i think i was trying to master the art of multi-tasking knitting cos if not i'd be fidgety and restless after a while... -eun
i just knit but i would also get bored which is why i generally like to knit things that have increases and decreases and also work our in my head variations or deviations from patterns. i probably wouldn't knit any scarves or blankets unless i have huge yarn and huge needles cos i think stockinette stitch is boring! when i had to do that for the body of my top i read OT books at the same time, heh.. cos you really don't have to concentrate on stockinette when you do continental style and goes faster too. definitely can knit and listen to radio or talk but probably can't knit and watch tv if i want to pay attention...
