So toward the end of last week my throat was numb. Not all of it. Just the left side. Weird. Then it spread to my left nostril, the lips on the left side of my mouth and now bits of my face and head. What is causing that, you ask?
Good question. I don't know and neither does my doctor. In theory I'm getting an MRI in the next day or so, and then we'll see what the deal is. I hope. Other than that, I feel fine.
So, then, what else? Well, for starters Traci and I crashed early last night. How early? Glad you asked (you're inquisitive this morning). 8:30 early.
Yeah, I know. Like toddlers. But it was fun. We laid around in the bedroom and watched some TV and just hung out together. Totally nice. We woke up around 10:30, ate a popsicle, and pretty much went back to bed (once I got the dog in his cage).
Overall a hugely non-productive night, but one that I really enjoyed. Apparently, when you're a grown up, every once in a while, you can act like a child. I dig it. (this was after the mature and financially painful adult trip to the vet to get the dog vaccinated, but oh well).
Apart from that, life is fine and good. I'm feeling a bit cut off because I haven't been able to make it to much Crane stuff lately, so I'll need to fix that this week. I also managed to get myself a speeding ticket on my way back from Sandusky this weekend, so Boo (though I did see some of my oldest friends there and that was freaking great. 1337 shout out to Brian and Dan and Amanda, my second mom. It was a good time. I met Amanda's husband, who, unsurprisingly, is really awesome.
What else? Not much. I'm just rambling now, so I'll bail on this post. It lacks cohesion and is sort of boring and if I hadn't typed so many words to get to that point, I'd just delete it. You should probably not bother reading it.
