This stupid thing surfaced again and it's really, really frustrating the number of people who have taken it seriously, because some of the resulting insults are just so full of hate;

With regards to the whole fake-quote-dump (one copy here: http://www.skyscrapercity.com/archive/index.php/t-391960.html), people are saying things like:
"exactly why actors should stick to acting, most are too stupid to listen to"

I'm sad to hear that from Keanu and Harrison though."

Especially since after a few of us on the Keanu IMDb boards did some investigation months back and Speed_of_Late traced it to a dodgy Arabian newspaper which was apparently trying to get people to watch fewer Hollywood films and more Arabian films, thereby sponsoring the local industry. The quotes then got into the chain e-mail network, and now they're everywhere.
There's not a single source for any of those quotes other than all compiled together in that format. No interview transcripts or footage or anything; they have no existence other than forwarded emails and that newspaper article that started it all. And as has been pointed out, Harrison Ford speaks better English than that.
just... so frustrating. so much hate being spewed, so many fans getting hurt, and all for some morons who wanted more profits.
