one of my class readings on cyberspace and race did a case study on a bunch of things including The Matrix. (also Snow Crash, Blade Runner and Neuromancer.)
so happy. :D
...also the author spends a somewhat unnecessary amount of time dwelling on Keanu's exotic hybrid looks, which was nice, except for the part where she then seemed obliged to balance it out with a couple of subtle jabs at his acting. In an academic paper. >_>
also she got the name of Neo's company wrong
it's Metacortex or Metacortechs, not 'Metronex' wtf.
but anyway I got to read a thing on The Matrix and Keanu and consider it homework, so I can't complain.
