disparate thoughts
1. I learnt that Martin Freeman's full name is 'Martin John C. Freeman'. I have no idea what the C stands for, and according to the Internet, no one knows either, so I'm just going to assume it's either 'Constantine' or 'Cumberbatch-'.
But this effectively makes his initials MJCF. That's almost MJF. Not to mention that ZQ's middle name is also John. I seem to have a thing for people with J initials. >_>
2. Someone recommended me the movie The Quiet Earth (1985). Any of you watched it? If so, how is it? The summary sounds like it's right up my alley, but I don't trust the tastes of the person who did the recommendation (she didn't like The Matrix. -_-)
3. Lamar Smith of SOPA fame apparently has other plans to break the Internet, this time under the guise of protecting teh children. It's making me depressed to think that if his various ideas go through, the Internet may not last very long.
Also his name is Smith. THIS MEANS SOMETHING.
