Harry Potter Meme
EVEN *I* am doing this meme, I, whose journal has been dead for years. That's how many people are doing this meme. Everyone. And that is why I cannot tell you where I got it from. Because it's too many names to list.
01. The first character I fell in love with: It's so difficult to remember, it was a long time ago. I read the books out of order in late 2000, starting with Book 4 which I couldn't finish because I never got past the boring Quidditch World Cup, and then I read Book 3 which was awesome and remains my favourite to this day. So I think I fell in love with Remus and Sirius first. Yeah. Sounds about right.
02. The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Draco. What can I say... I was a kid when I read these books the first time. I had a very uncritical eye. I hated whoever I was supposed to hate, loved whoever the author told me to love - even Molly Weasley! So I didn't like Draco at all. Not that I now think he's a fantastic person or anything, but he is an awesome character. And he deserved better from canon!
03. The character (most) everyone else loves that I don't: HBP!Dumbledore. Eurgh. Over the top, much?
04. The character I love that everyone else hates: DH!Dumbledore. Suddenly the most boring character is the most diabolically EVIL. Awesome.
05. The character I used to love but don't any longer: Take your pick. No, really. DH ruined practically everyone for me, especially the ones I loved most: Harry, Remus, Ginny (to be fair I hated Ginny from the time she got a personality transplant in HBP), Hermione, Ron (who has been undercut in every way possible since OotP, as if JKR was influenced by movie!Ron)... even Sprout whose big moment in DH was what, throwing plants at death eaters? Ugh.
06. The character I would shag anytime: Sirius! Tee hee.
07. The character I want to be like: .... This is HP we're talking about, so nobody, thanks very much.
08. The character I'd slap: Molly bloody Weasley.
09. A pairing that I love: So many! Remus and Sirius if I have to pick one.
10. Two pairings that I hate: Snape-Lily (as done by canon). Dumbledore-with-any-Harry-era-student is just icky for me.
11. Favourite character: Neville.
12. My six favourite characters: Ignoring DH, I'd say Harry, McGonagall, Snape. Ignoring HBP and DH, I like Voldemort a lot. Ignoring nothing? Luna and Dumbledore.
13. My five least favourite characters: Molly. The twins. Ginny. Percy. Wow I really hate the Weasleys huh. I liked pre-OotP Ron, though.
14. Which character I am most like: ??? No idea. Maybe Luna, without the overt nuttiness (I keep my madness well hidden, I think.)
15. My deep, dark fandom secret: I really don't think very much of JKR. But that's not really a secret... Hmm. I ...er... have a thing for the centaurs? I LOVE CENTAUR FIC. (Especially when not prOn. :P)
