My birthday party with the family was good and bad
Bad: Family from back east showed up, and my birthday was kinda ignored, it was a lets talk about your trip the whole time and give allison presents......bleh.
But we never get to see them, so I kinda feel selfish for being ignored.....which sounds weird. But its the second birthday in a row I've been ignored.
Good: I got some good loot. We discussed scrapbooking, (the gals in the family are big into scrapbooking) and the remakrs from the boys "what on earth are they talking about? It sounds like spanish..." was funny. And then we got out of the house and went geocaching.
Geocaching is way cool. But you need a GPS to do it. you go to geocaching.com, and search for caches in your area, get the coordinates, and go looking for them using your GPS. What you find is a treasure box! It has a bunch of cool stuff in it and a log book you can write in of when you where there.
We visited the geo cach my uncle made. In a park, coming out of a gate is a big pipe that goes into the ground. He attached to it a vertical piece of pipe and put a sticker on it that says "water line" with a screw on top. Looks like just a piece of the pipe, but it has pez dispensers and stuff in it :P. It's fun, and it's one of my uncle's major hobbies.
