Lets see,
My assistant at work was "let go" because he had a job offer from another dealership, and decided to hit us up for more money. Not a great morale builder. So until I can find a worthy candidate to work for me, I'm working 6:45am to 9 pm every weekday, and 7 to 4 Saturday. I had to cram a weeks worth of shit into Sunday, and I didn't get everything done I needed to do. I did manage to get eye appointments for myself and my younger son and my daughter. He got glasses, and I got glasses bifocals. Thats right kiddies, bi-mutherfucking-focals. Once I got used to the way you look out through them, they are a blessing. I can actually read my monitor at work! I sprung for the extra 15 bucks to have the "no, I dont have bifocals" progressive type lenses. No one's the wiser.
My oldest went back to Greenville Tech today. My younger son starts his first day of class tomorrow, as does my daughter, whos now a senior in high school. My dad has to drive my younger son, Matt to school tomorrow, because he doesnt have a drivers license. I spent half the night last night tossing and turning about how Im going to come up with the money to pay for their books. It sucks that FAFSA does not help out with that. My younger son is taking courses so he can transfer into a mechanical engineering program someday, my oldest still is undecided about his major. After he took his first semester, he is thinking about psychology, but thats up in the air.
Did I mention that Jimmy Page is playing the closing ceremony at the Olympics? I couldnt belive it either!
