Putting the finishing touches to her latest invention, Anissina - looking pleased with herself - sets down a contraption that actually looks quite dangerous with all the wires sticking up out of it. She'd love some willing victims volunteers to participate in helping her test this new product.

He's actually curious about this one, but a bit nervous to show much enthusiasm. "Have you found anyone yet, Anisssina?"

typist: if it's too confusing to do this at the same time as the anOTP, you can hold off answering. I won't mind.

"Found? You mean volunteers?"

Typist: (Whoops! Size 11. XD) Nope! It's fine :)

[inventors_toy]

typist: I thought you did that deliberately to tease me. *giggles*

"Yes." Simple is good.

[anissinainvents]

"I had some lined up. I'm waiting for them to show up - unless you want to go first...." she gives him an almost too sweet smile, her eyes flashing.

Typist: I saw it just as I pressed post so it was too late and then I saw huge letters. XD T'was an accident!

He eyes the machine. "What is it supposed to do, and what do you want me to do to help?"

[anissinainvents]

When she picks it up it looks vaguely like a cloak - though a very short one. "This.. Here and here," she indicates. "These attach to your shoulders from behind and then it should keep you warm all over." She automatically makes a move to get behind him to start attaching it if she gets no protest...

He doesn't protest, but it seems he's biting his tongue. "Should I take my regular coat off?"

[anissinainvents]

"No need." She fastens the short cloak to his own coat at the shoulders so that it looks a bit odd sitting over it but she's not concerned with appearances or style, merely the results - it may also pinch slightly. "Now concentrate your magic power and tell me if you feel warmer."

He does as requested, and indeed it seems as if a bubble of warmth grows around him. It's a trifle stifling, in fact.

"Concentrate more," she orders, having not had a verbal response from him as yet.

[inventors_toy]

"It's quite warm enough as it is, Anissina."

[anissinainvents]

"It's working?" She taps the shoulder of the cloak-invention as if that will do something.

[inventors_toy]

"Yes, it is."

[anissinainvents]

"And what happens when you relax again..? Do so now," she orders, hoping that possibly only a charge up of magical power will keep the warmth for a fair amount of time.

[inventors_toy]

He stops trying to concentrate. "I'm still pretty warm," he reports after a bit. "But it was a bit too warm while it was working."

[anissinainvents]

"Then stop thinking that you even have it on and see how it goes. Just don't take it off yet." Her tone sounds almost as if she's dismissing him but that doesn't mean he has to leave unless he wants to escape.
