I'm sorry to hear that you quit ACU. I understand the frustration at not doing the type of Literature that you like but we all have to do stuff we don't like. It's especially important in writing as we learn all new styles and influences, and get to understand how to better express ourslves- even if we don't like 19th C, or shakespeare. I would encourage you to finish your degree, especially now that you are a citizen! Congrats on that! Did you enjoy voting? Once you finish your degree you could do post grad in creative writing, and spend all your time doing that. There are some fantastic creative writing post grad courses out there. Even if you don't want to use your degree at the end, it's a great way to meet other like minded writers. The UTS one you mentioned is meant to be one of the best in the country so go for that and HECS it all the way!
I don't know about getting a castle. At the moment I'd be happy with a place to live in Paris. It's super hard and super expensive! I already have the Euro boyfriend though. He is English and we met before I left
