and not all pain takes us backward, but often we find ourselves propelled forward through it, if we allow ourselves. Some of the most admirable people I know are ones who have allowed pain to shape them into something that pampering could never attain. Thankyou for writing with that raw openess, and questioning I really get alot from it. I get the impression that you think on your feet as you write, that ideas cement themselves as you think and create and write.
And sometimes, some very lucky people get to growth through happiness too. It's only when you have nothing but comfort and ease of passage through their lives that the happiness loses its worth and potency. There really is no greater gift you can get but true hardship. How else to epiphanies come?
Thank you for your support and gratitude, and being able to see things as they are. It really irks me when people say that what I write is negative or pessimistic because it's the total opposite. You cannot be a true optimist if you aren't also a realist. If you can be thankful and hopeful even when in pain, that is true optimism.
I guess I think on my feet, but all my posts are pre-written. I have a notebook near my bed and in my handbag so I am ready to write as soon as inspiration strikes. I certainly can't force it.
