Can I borrow your towel? My car just hit a water buffalo.

Thank you danbi and coffee_n_cocoa for the virtual gifts! I got snowflakes and shit! Well, not shit, but the snowflakes and they're lovely! Thank you so much, both of you! *bounces around*

Rumours of my death have been greatly exaggerated, obviously. I'm still around, I lurk mostly, and I pop up from time to time. I did Smutty Claus this year, (waits for collective gasp), but that's been the first thing I've written outside of RPG in years. And it was het. I know what you're thinking, she's lost her mind, and perhaps you're right. But really, there wasn't much there to begin with so I'm not too fussed.

Things are going relatively good. No hospital stays for the kidlet, he's grown so much. He's almost as tall as I am now and has hit puberty. I always thought it'd be easier having a boy but no such luck. There have been several times over the last few months that I would have gladly purchased a home lobotomy kit to get some of the things he's asked/commented on out of my head. I'm all for being open with your kids, but damn. So yes, healthwise he's good, we're homeschooling, and I've pretty much turned into a hermit. Who knits. I knit all the time, and I'm on Ravelry as aniseanise, btw, if anyone else out there is addicted to this crap as well. Feel free to add me. Wish I had more to say. I saw New Moon today, (listens to more gasps and groans), and I feel safe in saying that I'm fairly certain a turnip has a wider range of facial expressions than Kristen Stewart. Also, Robert Patinson better be damn glad he's pretty, that's all I'm saying. I do feel a bit dirty for perving on the little boy who plays Jacob. Well, he's definitely not little, but I'm old enough to be his mom and he really needs to put a damn shirt on.

So yeah. Ladies, thank you for the gifts! I loff you both. Now, I'm going to go hit a few more water buffalo I think. I'm in need of towels.

the undead can in fact post. who knew?
