It's like a blackhole
I was casually a fan of many groups before, just listen to their songs. But I actually enter Arashi fandom properly and become a proper fangirl and spend money for them, other than buying the CDs. Entering Johnny's fandom, as you know, won't limit you to just 1 group. You end up stanning other Johnny's groups too!
I started with Kanjani 8 because my best friend loves them. Also, they are an exact contrast to Arashi, so it's fun watching them and their loudness as they are from Kansai are very refreshing! And then, of course i started listening to V6, NEWS, HSJ, JWEST, watched Kame's drama etc. Never into Jrs but since SixTONES and SNOWMAN appears on Arashi ni Shiyagare, i have to check them out and it turns out they are funny too!
When Arashi starts their hiatus, i thought i will spend less time fangirling. But i'm still following SixTONES closely. Not so much the other groups. BUT THEN, i watched the Boss Koi drama for Mamiya Shotaro, and guess what? Just like how i watched Hanadan for Matsuda Shota and end up falling for Jun and then Arashi, now i fell for Tama-chan and start looking for Kisumai materials. Luckily/unluckily, Johnnys' materials especially with english sub are hard to find online. So, it hasn't gone too far yet. But i tried to confine that interest to Tama-chan only. I hope it will stop after Boss Koi finishes.
But this seems like a trend. You never stop fangirling Johnny's group. You either change groups or add more groups to your list. Yabaiii! This. Is. A. Blackhole. Fangirling. Is. A. Trap. You. Can. Never. Got. Out.
