(no subject)
i am writing because i am bored. I am writing because it's been a while since i last did. I am writing because there's a lot on my head right now. Like how i wish i were in america with my dad instead of bumming here at home, or how i'm annoyed at livejournal's utterly uninspiring layout, and how i have a gazillion pictures to upload from decades ago, and how i want to dance so badly, and how sembreak ends in a week's time, and how sad that i'm ignoring a pile of books on my bedside window, and how i want to play my piano downstairs, and how i want to shop, and how i miss my friends, and i can go on and on about this.
So far this sembreak has been spent here at home watching movies. So far, i've watched seven: Step Up (the first of three! i suck, i know), The Ugly Truth, Nine, Cruel Intentions,The Pursuit of Happyness, V for Vendetta, and Music and Lyrics. And well i'm not really in the mood to do reviews for these but i could say that what stood out was the first four, plus V for Vendetta. Step Up, because i loved the fusion of ballet with hip-hop; The Ugly Truth, because it was funny and true and maybe also because of Gerard Butler hahaha; Nine, because of the sexy Moulin Rouge-ish choreographies and goddess Nicole Kidman and Marion Cotillard; Cruel Intentions (again, another old movie) because i loved the story, Ryan Philippe's bad-ass character, the Ryan-Reese tandem [oh how i wish they were still together. poor ava and deacon! :(], and the escalator scene; anyway, lastly V for Vendetta because it made me think and because of Natalie Portman and her awesome accent.
I went out with Eunice for a lunch at tosh in rob ermita. It was such a feel-good experience. We talked about college, and the things that keep us smiling these days (more on her side actually hehe). We had ice cream for dessert and we played with my golden half (a lomo cam). Then we went around and i got me a classy antique-looking ring. I had fun even if it was just a brief encounter. Eunice is getting prettier by the way, all dressed up but still the sweet shy girl i knew in college. I love my hugglee. :) I can't wait for our next date/food trip: Mediterranean! and maybe Becky's ice box cake for dessert :) Haha!
Anyway, there's more to say bout my sembreak but i'll leave it here for now.
