A Rupee for your thoughts

It's been awhile since my last entry. The course material we are studying (C Language) is a bit more difficult than I had anticipated. It doesn't help that the teacher goes way too fast and stops teaching at noon and expects us to do the assignments anyway. I can't complain too much though because I lucked out and have some smart & helpful people in my group who are willing to put up w/my stupid questions and lack of motivation. Although it doesn't help that they share my passion for playing the Nintendo DS, haha. I go to class at 9 am and don't usually leave the computer lab until 630-730pm, minus tea breaks & lunch.

As for things I've been doing for fun, three weekends ago a group of us took a bus up to Bangalore. This city was known for it's clubbing, but apparently a few months ago, they implemented a city-wide ordinance that requires that clubs close at 11:15pm. Pretty lame. Bangalore was madness...I truly feared for my life when crossing the street. Cars, buses, rickshaws, and motorcycles like to speed up when you're walking across. 10 points. The weekend after that another group of us went to Ooty and then Bandipur. Ooty is a city atop a high mountain peak. Beautiful. The cool air was refreshing. As for Bandipur, we went there for a safari. The variety of animals that we could actually see was disappointing, but riding on the elephant at the end made up for it. I can check that off my list now.

It's funny how even though I traveled to the other side of the world, I have the same old luck. Last night, I was watching the basketball tournament here on campus while eating pizza. Out of no where, a fatty bug lands on my head, and then falls on my knee. After a quick freakout, I am just happy that it did not land in my musumbi juice.
