There has been so much running around this week:

✖ Wednesday was Devon's award ceremony and dance. The award ceremony was supposed to start at 9 in the morning, but it ended up started late because as much as I love P.S. 88, they suck at planning things. Some parents there were also ridiculously rude - I ended up jamming a leg into a handrest because I went to move out the way of someone pushing through an aisle. In any case, Devon won a science award! He got a certificate and a little pin. After the ceremony was over, we were rushed out so the kids could change and head over to their dance.

The dance was from noon to 4, so I headed over to Fleur De Lis around 3:30. I should've left earlier, because the doors were swarmed with parents. And once again, they were ridiculously rude. I waited on line forever, and they just come and cut in front. When I finally got in to get Devon, he was all smiles. He couldn't stop talking about what he did. He also got me candy buttons! He ended up getting a stomachache though, because he ate too much.

✖ Thursday was his graduation. Usually, the school would have their graduation ceremony at Christ the King High School, but they decided to change the venue this year. Unfortunately, the different location meant that instead of 3-4 tickets per family, there were only 2. Devon was upset because that meant I couldn't go, but there really wasn't anything we could do. He and my parents left around 3, and I started to clean up the house. Chris came over while I was cleaning, so I dragged him with me while I went to do errands. I bought some balloons and an ice cream cake, and decorated the living room so that Devon would be surprised when he got home. Devon really liked it - he was most excited to see Chris though. Me, Chris, Devon and Mom all played Mario Kart together with our DSes and I trashed everybody >D

Also! I made Chris get a plurk - feel free to add him. I basically made him get to keep tabs on and communicate with him, since he doesn't have a cell phone. I don't know how much he'll use it, but he's an okay guy.

✖ Chris had stayed overnight, since he was supposed to go fishing with Devon and my father, but it was storming like crazy this morning, so they weren't able to go. My father decided to take Chris and Devon to the movies instead - they went to see X-Men First Class. Dad called a little while ago and it seems they went to Chili's after the movie. Devon also ended up getting something from Sports Authority, but dad won't say what.
