today probably won't be a good day
I was actually looking forward to today, but it just seems like everything is getting shot to hell. It doesn't help that I'm put to work the very minute I wake up. And it isn't that I don't like doing chores, it's that I hate the fact that when I wake up, everyone else shuts down and won't do anything. My parents have holed themselves up in their room so they can sleep and watch tv, while having me bring snacks to them, and Devon is completely in my care. When my parents are like this, they won't even try to assist me with Devon - I'm his 'sister' after all. That doesn't even include the housework I've got to do. I had wanted to go to this today, but it doesn't seem like that will be happening.
On a brighter note,
✖ Pokemon White has been spectacular. I've gotten a new badge and should probably update my pokemon post, but I'm lazy - I'll do it within the next couple of days. I've also made my plurk layout pokemon-themed to match my lj one.
Oh! I'm planning on putting pokemon sprites in my profile, so I'd like you guys to pick! I'm concentrating on fifth gen. pokemon, so pick a sprite from here and I'll add the overworld sprite version of it to my profile~
✖ Made a new post over at skiesareorange. I originally wanted the batch to be bigger, but I'm happy with the way it turned out. I've been working on Megamind icons, but they don't seem to be coming out right. I don't know what to do about them yet. And I'm still thinking of making Tangled icons, since my dad brought home the DVD the other day~
On a side note, skiesareorange is almost at 80 watchers! I honestly never thought it would happen, and it makes me ridiculously happy. I'm sure scones is happy too. I've been kinda thinking of doing a kind of 'manga coloring spam post' to celebrate when it happens - do you think anyone would be interested?
