this headache just won't go away

☁ My brother came over yesterday, but it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. We talked about Scott Pilgrim, and I totally lorded the fact that I've both seen the movie and read the comics while he hasn't over him. Then I forced him to watch all the Umineko Motion Graphics with me. Then he asked me to explain Umineko to him - I think I stared at him a full minute. I honestly debated whether or not I should make a chart, but decided against it. He got a very bare-bones explanation.
☁ This past weekend, my father was in so much pain he could hardly move. My mother and I tried to get him to go to the hospital, but he refused. He decided to go to work today and we got a call a few hours ago that he was in the emergency room at the hospital. Apparently it was his appendix that was giving him trouble, and to make matters worse, if he hadn't gotten to the hospital when he did, it would have been to late. He was prepped and wheeled into surgery about an hour or two ago, so the hardest part should be over soon. I don't think he gets released until tomorrow, but he'll be okay.
