i hate when i get songs stuck in my head
First off - THANK YOU SO SO MUCH for all the birthday wishes, both on plurk and livejournal ♥♥♥ I can't even begin to describe how happy I am. I've seriously got this big stupid grin on my face.
Devon and I met my mother in the city, and then we went to Wendy's to eat. Since it was still too early to catch the movie when we were done, we headed over to Forbidden Planet. My mother was willing to buy me manga, but I could only choose two. I haven't bought manga for months, do you know how incredibly hard that was? In any case, I picked up the final volumes of Mixed Vegetables and Wild Ones. They had the Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni manga, which I really really wanted, but I'll just have to pick it up later.
We caught the 3:30 showing of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, and I have to say, that movie was AWESOME! They did change stuff around, but considering the time constraints of a movie, it's understandable. I still loved it. The fight scenes were some of the best parts of the movie. If anything, I would've liked to see more Knives and Kim in the movie. And I will never like Micheal Cera as Scott - he ended up being geekier and timid than he actually is. But, just like in the comics, Wallace is one of my favorite characters. I love him ♥
Overall, I highly recommend this movie.
