Another Cute Story
Also from the 5th grade. All my cute stories come from the young kids.
On thursday, they turned in their book reports. One of the boys was reading a mystery book that took place in Roman times. In his report he repeatedly referred to the "Guals".
So I called him over, "E- , it's not 'Guals.' They were called 'Gauls'. G - A - U - L."
"No, no. I'm telling you, that's how the spelled it in the book!"
After a few minutes arguring, he went to go get the book and flipped through it until he found the word, at which he said.
"See, I told you, G - A - U - L!"
