My first knitting project ever!
Finally, almost one year after starting on my scarf for K, I finished it yesterday night.
I was done with all but the last part (since perhaps the last four months), but didn't know how to bind off.
So two weeks ago, I got the "Idiot's Guide to Knitting and Crocheting" and yesterday night finally read up the instructions on casting off and voila, the grey soft scarf was ready to go!
To beautify, I added tassles to both sides and it took me all of an hour to both cast off and make tassles and thus complete my piece!
This is my first ever knitting project and I am thrilled at finally having finished it.
It has a bit of a pattern to keep it from curling on the sides and K thought I was brilliant with the knitting to be able to make patterns and add tassles!
I did not do too much to dispel the notion!:-)
