Today, friends, something extraordinarily odd happened to me. I actually recognized that David Archuleta might be a sexual being of some sort. While there was a period when I was mildly intrigued with the Cook/Archuleta fandom, I couldn't stick with it because my belief that he is always going to be 12 and asexual was deeply rooted. But then I watched this video. I'm still conflicted about this.

Last weekend I managed to cram what felt like an entire week into three days, despite being unconcious for a large part of it. I went and saw A Single Man, which was gorgeous in every sense of the word. That kid from About A Boy certainly has, uh, grown up. Then, for really no reason at all, I went out with a friend and got insanely drunk, thus necessitating that the entire next day be spent asleep.
Speaking of drunken evenings, Friday night I was reintroduced to a guy I had previously met at our infamous New Year's Eve fiasco. His first words to me: "Oh yeah, I remember you--you've got a great singing voice!" Which is a lovely compliment. Too bad I have no recollection of singing at all. Yeesh.
I finished Misfits, and it was indeed glorious. A taste, to hopefully get some of you intrigued:
Ah, Nathan. Another lanky Irish boy to fixate on. :)
EDIT: Holy god, there's apparently a Merlin/Misfits/Torchwood crossover fic already in this world. I can't judge the Jack characterization, but I'm digging the author's Nathan a lot.
EDITx2: I should let you know that everything about that fic is a pretty big spoiler for the Misfits series (like, even the title).
