Title: I Will Always Love You

“Hikaru”
Hikaru turned around when his name was being called by someone voice, the voice that he had loved so much to hear, not long after he heard the sound, someone came approaching him on the bench and took the space beside him, joining him in the silent. Hikaru looked at such a beautiful face of his best friend, the one who he had been falling in love over the years. The one who just thought of him as best friend only, and repeatedly crushed down his heart, Inoo Key was still as beautiful as he was since the first time Hikaru laid his eyes on him.
They had knows since they were so little, and Hikaru wasn’t sure of himself, since when did he have a different feeling toward the said best friend?, he did know that he never wanted again to see Key cried over something that he could prevent to come.
As beautiful as Key, he got a lot of people who loved him very much, he enjoyed the attention that he got from all the people who admired his beauty, and sometime when a guy flattered him too much, he would fall into the charm, Key was the sucker type for such a handsome face and admiration, so Hikaru wasn’t that surprise when Key had more than enough story of his love life.
When Key fell for one guy, once again Hikaru’s heart was broken, he did love Key with all of his life that’s why, he would always make this one guy happy no matter what, who cared on what happen with him, as long as Key was always smiling, Hikaru was happy.
He hated so much when he had to see the sad Key, all the boy who dated him only saw him as one of the beauty that needed to be won, he was beautiful man after all, then after they got all they wanted, they would dumb his said best friend and left him in sorrow and despaired. Leaving Hikaru to care for his broken heart. It was always Hikaru the one who did understand Key the most, all the guys that dated him just saw the Key that they wanted to see, not the real Key that only Hikaru knew.
Hearing Key said his name in small tone and looking at his sad eyes, Hikaru could only take that Key was facing once again a broken heart. He remembered that just a week ago, his best friend had come to him with so wide smile and happy face, he told him that he fell in love with the most wonderful guy ever, and that wonderful guy had just been asking him out, he was so happy back then, now judging from this Key, Hikaru wasn’t so sure anymore.
“hi, what’s up?”
“nothing, it’s just that I got the feeling that I was once again being the unwanted,” he signed so deep, here went again, this pretty boy as always thought of that whenever he was being dumped by his boyfriend.
“he dumped you?”
“yeah, he said that we are so not going to work out, so he left”
“what a stupid boy” Hikaru snored and looked at how sad Key was. Yes, indeed the guy was surely one of the stupidest boy Hikaru ever met, how could they were so blind, Key was so beautiful and so precious, how could they not see that?
“maybe they are right, I am just not worth for getting love from anybody”
“Key, enough for pitying yourself like that, you are so not like that, the Key I know is someone with full of confident and love, so whoever said something that you are not worth their time, they are stupid, because you know what? I always think that you are amazing person” this time Key did smile at him, a weak smile thought but then again smile was still a smile, Hikaru smiled back at him, he loved to see Key smile, the more Key smile the more he looked so beautiful.
“Hika never fail to lift my mood, thanks a lot buddy, I am so glad I have you as best friend” there was a pang of pain inside his heart when he heard Key declared that he was just a best friend, his once numb heart was once again being cut open and it bleed again.
He tried very hard not to show how hurt he was in front of Key, so he did what he was best, he smiled so wide to cover his broken heart. Key was slowly being infected by his smile, and they both were smiling to each other, glad to have such a best friend.
