For the whole weekend Hikaru had hid himself from the outside world. He had locked himself inside his room and no one could force him to go out. Kota had called a couple of times but he did refuse to pick up his call. He needed time to think and his best friend would only make him felt worse.
Since the kissing incident, and the confessing afterward, Hikaru kind a felt that he was the worst friend ever, how could he let himself be carried away like that. Oh, how did he have to face his best friend after this? He knew that Yuta had a crush on Takaki, yet he was taking advantages of the situation, what should he do after this? He really thought that he couldn’t face Kota, Yuta or Takaki after this.
Groaning very loud he messed his hair even more, he really had not had idea on what he should say when he met the three of them at school. The chance in meeting one of them was very big, he couldn’t even imagine himself avoided Kota. Maybe he could stay out of Tama and Takaki line gaze, but it would be very difficult to stay hidden from his best friend. He needed a plan to going through his Monday.
Busy with his own thought, he wasn’t very aware and he surely got a pretty big shock of his life when his door being opened not too gently by none other than Yabu Kota, his own best friend.
He was facing an angry Kota, and he whimpered in fear. His best friend stood while crossing his arms on his chess, he had looked at Hikaru with a firm stare and when his best friend was like this, there was nothing Hikaru wanted except running for his life.
He had felt helpless when he had to face this angry Kota. His best friend could be pretty scary when he was angry. Especially when the one caused the anger was none other than his own best friend.
“want to say something to me?”
Hikaru thought that being honest was something smart to do at the moment like this. Kota was not someone who liked to be lied to. So Hikaru took deep breath and opened his mouth.
“I am sorry”
“you should be, how could you do that to me, your own best friend”
“I didn’t have any choice back then, I am really sorry”
“how could you leave me alone with that jerk, you do know that I hate him right?”
“ha?” okay what was Kota talking about? Didn’t they talk about Takaki? Then why did Fujigaya Taisuke have anything to do with this?
“after you and Takaki left us, that jerk made a move on me and he made me very irritated. How could you Hikaru, I was very miserable yesterday.”
“so, you are not mad because I left with Takaki kun but you are mad at me because I left you alone?”
“of course, well did something happen with Takaki kun?”
“ehm, actually there is something when Takaki kun dragged me away from you guys yesterday”
“really?”
“but Ko chan I think it is not a problem for you anymore”
“are you sure?”
“yeah, I am sure, so why are you here?”
“just need to get away from Yu chan”
“something happen to Yu chan?” by now Hikaru made a room for Kota on the bed, the two best friend sat side by side and Kota took a deep breath before he answered Hikaru.
“I don’t really know what happen actually, he doesn’t want to talk to me, do you think that he is mad at me for what I did?”
“maybe, I mean we both know that Takaki kun has someone he likes already, so don’t you think that Yuta kun has no more chance with him?” Hikaru saw the helpless look on Kota face and cursed himself for being bad best friend, he was the one Takaki Yuya wanted as a lover, but did he brave enough to tell that fact to Kota?
Yuta was surely would have his heart broken if he did confess to Takaki, but, didn’t he just run away from Takaki yesterday? He didn’t give the boy a clear answer? He was sure that he didn’t say no or yes to Takaki? But the moment he ran away was it clear enough as a rejection? Or maybe not.
He really didn’t know what he had wanted with Takaki Yuya. He was shock enough with the confession let alone what should he do to replay Takaki.
He had no idea, really.
“Hika, what was you thinking? You are just spacing out on me?”
“nothing”
“you are weird”
One more thing that he hid from his best friend, first was about the love letter that he always got, and now this, Takaki Yuya love confession. He really was being a bad best friend.
Wait, Takaki Yuya had just confessed to him, did it mean he was the one who sent him the letters?
Maybe he needed to talk to Takaki once more time, to give him a clear answer and asking him about the letters. Yeah, Takaki deserved a proper answer for him.

The next day, Hikaru was trying to find Takaki Yuya, he was a year below him so it was kind a hard to find the boy, almost all the student knew Takaki Yuya, he could just ask one of them, but then again, he didn’t want to attract to much attention to him. He needed to find Takaki Yuya on his own.
After almost the whole break time he had spent looking for the older boy, Hikaru finally took a glimpse of Takaki figure walking with someone. He came to the said boy, and when he was closed enough he saw that the other figure who was standing close to Takaki was no other than Tamamori Yuta, it seemed that the both of them were talking to each other and with a far distance that Hikaru had between he and them, he couldn’t hear what they were talking about.
He just saw that Yuta had spoken something and Takaki replayed at him, he had the same smile at his face, the very smile that he gave to Hikaru for the whole day they were together.
The way Hikaru looked at them, he saw how good they were together like that, The both of them were good looking guy, they were a good people also, in Hikaru mind they should just date each other, Takaki deserved someone like Yuta.
With a hard feeling Hikaru turned around and walked away from the scene. He didn’t know but deep inside his heart he could hear something broke but he had tried to ignore it as he took another steps further away from the scene.

Yabu Kota was not someone to back away from something, especially that something that he had stared himself in the first place. He had felt the responsibility for making Yuta believed that he had a chance with Takaki, in fact he had zero chance. He had felt bad and he had the need to fix the problem. He had tried to look for Yuta and didn’t find him anywhere, he cursed himself for being such an lucky one. In the middle of his searching there was one guy whom he didn’t want to see the most blocked his way.
“what do you want?”
“nothing, are you looking for Yuta chan?”
“none of your business” he had tried to walk off from Fujigaya and he walked passed him, the boy had caught his arm in a tight grip, he turned and found Fujigaya smiled at him with so innocently.
“let me go” he had said it in a firm tone and he hoped that Fujigaya got the message.
“I will, but I need to ask you something first” he tried to struggle and failed miserably, it looked like that this guy didn’t have any will to let him go so after calming himself down he had looked at Fujigaya and glared at him.
“okay fine I will listen to you, but first you need to let me go”
“come on” totally ignoring him, the other guy tightened his grip on Kota and dragged the poor boy away, to the somewhere that Kota didn’t know.
Bad feeling and thought went through his mind. What would he do to him? Fujigaya was a bad news to him and now he had him in his arm, what would happen with him? that was the first time ever that Kota had felt that scared and hopeless, there was no Hikaru to help him out of this situation.
Turned our Fujigaya brought him to the back yard and they were standing under the bunches. The other teen made a silent signal and Kota made a confused face back at him, he pointed to something if front of him and that was the moment Kota understood, in front of them, standing Yuta and Takaki, they seemed to talk to each other, because of the short distance that they had, Kota could see the facial expression from the two people whom they were spying to, but they were not closed enough, so Kota couldn’t hear on what they were speaking. He had looked that the two of them had smile on their faces and Kota had a good feeling inside of him. So Yuta had took his advise and be a man for once, he had confronted his fear, he was so proud of him. smiling so wide also Kota stood up himself and wanted to walk away from the scene, he thought of giving his cousin a private time together with Takaki, but then again, it seemed that Fujigaya had another plan for him, the moment he saw Kota did that, he had caught his arm once again and made the other teen stopped what he was doing.
“what now” Kota had been so annoyed and when Fujigaya had him inside his arms, He was more than ready to explode. He had that scary look on his face and hoped that Fujigaya would let him go right this instance. He didn’t what to have something that Fujigaya had for him, so he started to struggle only to have the guy made a tighter grip on him.
He really hated this guy with all his heart, he was losing his patient and when he saw that the other guy that smirk on his face, he lost his compose for good.
He used the only thing that he could think of. Violence seemed to be a good option at the time like this.
“may I ask you something?”
“you already did”
“will you be my boyfriend?” when he heard that guy asked him out he stopped all his struggle and looked at the boy with a disbelieved look, did he hear right?.
While still in his shock state, he saw how Fujigaya leant forward and almost touched his face, he did the only thing that came out in his head, he hit the boy face with his fish, making the other boy stumbled back and holding his face, well served him right.
“do that to me once again, I will not hold myself again” he walked away with his head raised enough, after such a threat he was kind a proud of himself. Who he did think Yabu Kota was.
Leaving Fujigaya behind, all Kota wanted was looking for Hikaru, he still had the anger inside him and he needed to let it out, he just hoped that his younger best friend would help him.
He had found Hikaru at their usual place, the boy was holding his almost empty bento and seemed to think about something. Kota plopped down beside the younger one and made a temp to steal from Hikaru bento.
“hey Ko chan” Hikaru gave him a weak smile and Kota wondered did something happen with him?
“something wrong?”
“nothing, just thinking for myself”
“you know Hika, you can always talk to me when you have trouble mind, you know?”
“I know Ko chan, but I don’t have any trouble, so maybe we can save that for another day” they both had a silly grin on their faces and Kota was more than glad when he did have such a good best friend.
“I saw Takaki kun and Yuta kun talked a while ago” Hikaru opened his mouth while looking at his bento, Kota turned at him with a smile.
“yeah, I did to, it looked like that Yu chan finally had a courage and confessed to Takaki kun already”
“oh, good for him then”
“well don’t you think that they will end up together, I mean we do know that Takaki kun already has someone he likes right, so what will happen to Yu chan after this?” they both looked to each other and had the same thought, they had a clear image that Yu chan would get dumb by Takaki. For real
“I don’t know Ko chan” they both felt bad for Yuta, Kota really thought that he owed his cousin an apology for this, he really did.

“Ko chan” Yuta called his cousin. Later that night after such a good day, he had come to his cousin.
His saw Kota was just getting up from his bed and now looking at him with such a face. He walked further inside the room and sat down beside him on the bed.
“something wrong?”
“I confessed to Takaki kun today”
“yeah, I know”
“you do?, well what I was trying to say is I got dumb”
“oh, Yu chan I am so sorry, I knew that already,”
“knew already what?” he faced his cousin and saw that his cousin had an apology look on his face. He was kind of lost right now.
“when we went to amusement park, Takaki kun asked me what my purpose on inviting him in the first place, so I told him that I wanted to hock him up with you,”
“was he mad at you?”
“no, he just apologized to me, he told me that he has already have someone on his heart, so he is afraid that he will be hurting you, so I am so sorry Yu chan”
“yeah, he apologized to me also, but Ko chan do you know who is the one that Takaki kun mean?”
“you mean the one for his heart, no, he didn’t tell me”
“kay then,”
“how are you now?”
“I am fine actually, before the confession I was so afraid, but then again after I got to let it out I kind of feel more to relieved, I am still sad though, someone has just dumped me, but nothing I can’t handle, so don’t worry kay Ko chan”
His cousin hugged him tight and Yuta could feel that he was really worried and concern about him. For once Yuta didn’t have a heart to stay mad at him. He was so glad that this wonderful person was his cousin.
He knew that sometime Kota was too much in doing something that he had believed but then again he was truly a good boy who cared a lot about other people.
While being inside Kota embrace, Yuta mind was going back to his confession earlier that day. He had asked Takaki for his time, Takaki seemed to know on what his purpose, he just smiled when Yuta asked him to accompany him. They walked to the back yard of the school building and a very nervous Yuta had said that he liked him.
“I like you” he was so nervous and he was more than glad he did sound so compose and didn’t stutter at al. He had looked so scared in front of Takaki who had a gentle face. Looking at how Takaki face he had a bad feeling about it.
“I am glad that there is still someone who likes me, but I need to tell you I am sorry”
“oh, you don’t like me” did he sound so hurt just now?
“I have liked you as a friend”
“okay then, may I ask you something then?”
“yes?”
“why did you reject me? am I not good enough for you? Please just give me something”
“actually the reason why I always reject people so far is because I have already fallen in love with someone”
“wow, you really hide that well you know, there is no a single student in this school know that fact”
“yeah, I don’t wanna make a trouble for him”
“him?”
“yes, he was a year below us, so we really didn’t talk that much, I have no reason to come to him actually. I am so stupid” Takaki had that weak laugh and Yuta thought that maybe this Takaki Yuya that everyone had been crazy about was actually one of the silly boy that Yuta often to see, he was just so like him, getting afraid to confess and just watching the one he loved from far only.
Yuta saw himself in this boy and he felt pity toward Takaki.
“why don’t you confess already, who will reject the Takaki Yuya” he had meant that as a joke, but when Takaki saw him his bitter laugh, he had thought that he was saying something wrong.
“I did get rejection, I saw an opportunity, I confessed and he rejected me”
“I am so sorry Takaki kun I didn’t mean to”
“it’s okay Tamamori kun, I am okay, I mean I kind of scared him actually”
“what do you mean?”
“I kissed him out of the blue and he ran away”
“well everybody will be shock, it is a normal reaction, maybe he just needed a time to adjust everything , I mean, you just kiss him, give him a time and then maybe you can confess again”
“you really think so?”
“I really do think so, may I know who is this lucky guy?”
“you know him actually, It’s Yaotome kun”
“Hikaru kun? then that was why you took off with him the other day at the amusement park?”
“yeah, I just thought that it was my chance and I took it.”
“but he ran away from you?”
“hm,”
“well maybe you just need to ask him once again, Hikaru kun is a good kid, you get a good catch”
Takaki had smile at him and Yuta felt his heart went beating so fast, he still had a feeling toward the boy indeed.
“hey want me to help you?”
“help me?”
“I do think that you still have a chance with Hikaru kun, so why not?”
“you do? Thank you so much”
After the last smile Yuta and Takaki bid goodbye toward each other and Yuta smiled at himself, he did it, and he still had a mission to do, the operation to hock Takaki and Hikaru up began.

It was pure intentional for the four of them to meet in a such a place. Well maybe not for Yuta. He had planned it before, he had asked his cousin to go with him to the mall, he told Kota that he needed to clear his mind after getting dumb, Kota agreed immediately, but then again with an apology smile he told his cousin that he already had a plan with Hikaru, they both wanted to go to the mall also, Hikaru needed to buy a present for his dad. Without so much hesitated Yuta told his cousin that he didn’t mind going with Hikaru also.
In Yuta heart he had found the perfect chance for Takaki to have his happiness, so he texted the boy and told him to meet him at the mall, he was with his cousin and his best friend. Takaki said he would be there and Yuta hid his smile.
The three of them walked around and Kota and Hikaru was so busy looking for the said present while Yuta was busy looking at his phone, he kept Takaki update on where they were. He walked behind Kota and when he felt that his phone vibrated he flipped it opened. He saw the message that was coming from Takaki and he read the message.
Takaki was just standing in front of Yabu and Hikaru, the three of them had a surprise look on their faces, well maybe Kota and Hikaru was honest with their facial expression, but Yuta was sure Takaki was faking it.
“Takaki kun, what are you doing here?” Kota was the one who snapped back to the reality first.
“walking around, what are you guys doing?”
“shopping,” Yuta came forward and smiled at the new guy.
“hi, Tamamori kun”
“Yuta will be fine” he stepped in and facing Takaki kun, he took a glance on his corner of eyes at Hikaru and he had seen how uncomfortable the boy was. He kind of felt a little jealous with this Hikaru, he meant, what did Hikaru have and he didn’t have in order for Takaki fell in love with him? but then again if we were talking about love, there was no rational reason for someone to fall in love for someone else right, he took a deep breath and trying to erase all the negative feeling inside his heart. He told Takaki that he would help him, and so he would do that. Whatever happen, if the worst scenario happened to Takaki, let’s say Hikaru kept rejecting him, Yuta was so ready to step forward and comforted him, he still liked Takaki after all.
“want to join us Takaki kun?”
“okay, I have nothing to do actually”
“well okay,” Kota gave Takaki a smile and he walked ahead with Hikaru in tow. Leaving Yuta and Takaki to follow them.
“are you sure about this Yuta kun. Yaotome kun didn’t even see me at all”
“give him time, when the time ready, I want you to take your chance carefully okay”
“okay, I will try, Yuta kun, thank you”
“no problem” they exchanged smile and Yuta felt kind of warm feeling enveloped him in a way that he had liked it.

They had been feeling tired already, they had walked around the mall after all, too bad Hikaru still hadn’t found the one he was looking for, actually his mind was not working properly whenever Takaki Yuya was near him. His brain stopped function right when he saw how closed Takaki to him. The four of them had already decided to stop by at the café that Hikaru and Kota liked to stop by a lot, they sold a really good sushi and Hikaru mood went down to the worst when he was sitting right in front of Takaki. He wouldn’t that mind when Takaki didn’t mind him at all, he meant didn’t he have a date with Yuta, then why he had to look at him that way? This was so the first time for Hikaru to be threat like this, Takaki saw him with so much tenderness and love and he had felt so suffocated when he had locked his gaze with Takaki brown big eyes. His so beautiful eyes reflected love and that love was being directed to him only.
He knew that already, he could see the love that Takaki Yuya had for him. But then there was something which made his heart hurt whenever he saw it. He didn’t know what was the cause. He felt so confuse with his own feeling and he didn’t like it.
“I want one set of sushi and lemon tea please”
“I will have the same”
“Hikaru?” he turned to look at his best friend when he heard him call him.
“I will have ramen and orange juice please”
“Takaki kun?” Yuta had asked Takaki and the boy had said something sounded like.
“I will have the same at Yaotome kun please”
“okay that’s all”
The waiter disappeared and while waiting for their orders the three of them decided to chat among themselves, leaving Hikaru stayed still on his seat and didn’t have any idea on what should he say.
Several minutes later all their orders were served and after a shout of ‘Itadakimasu’ they started to dig in. Hikaru ate his ramen in silent and just heard the other three of his friend talked among themselves. One time he had seen such an intimate act was being done by none other Takaki and Yuta, and he felt so much tightness inside his heart. Why did it feel so hurt seeing them together?
Ignoring all of that Hikaru focused on his ramen and tried to empty his mind. He didn’t want to look so pathetic, murmuring something that he had no right, he did run away from Takaki the other day, so didn’t it mean that he had rejected the other teen right? So why he did feel a great regret invented his heart? What would happen with them if he didn’t run away. Would he and Takaki talked with so much happiness and be a great couple at the end? He really doubted it.
He was no match for The Takaki Yuya, that was for sure.
“Ko chan would you mind accompany me to buy something, I think I need it”
“okay, wait until we finish all the food and then we can go together”
“no, let’s go now” after said so he stood up and dragged his cousin up and walked further from their table, Kota was too surprise to do anything, so he just stayed still while his cousin walked them away from Hikaru and Takaki.
Hikaru had to blink for a couple of times before he registered that the two of them had left him and Takaki alone.
He took a glance at Takaki awkwardly and found out that the boy had looked at him straight on his eyes. He gulped his saliva and when he was about to stand up, Takaki stopped him.
“I think we need to talk”
They were facing each other and Hikaru couldn’t take his eyes from Takaki gaze, he was too captivated by such a gaze and he didn’t know how to open his mouth also.
“sit down” Hikaru did that and Takaki leant forward.
“why did you ran away from me?” Hikaru mind was getting back at the memory of their shared kiss and in an instance he was blushing.
“am I getting the wrong impression and being too confident?” Takaki kept going and Hikaru was still in his silent self.
“won’t you talk to me?”
“I don’t know” finally Hikaru opened his mouth and spoke with a whisper.
“do you like me?” Takaki asked him with not much confident in is tone, he had looked so helpless also in Hikaru eyes. Hikaru took a deep breath before he spoke.
“why do you like me? I mean you are the Takaki Yuya and I am just nobody, are you sure you like me?”
“I have liked you since a year ago, what makes you think I am not serious?”
“a year ago?” Hikaru asked him back in disbelieved sound.
“yeah,”
“but why I never saw you came to me?”
“ah I have no confident at all, I did feel like a fool when I thought back for the whole times I have wasted, I should come to you sooner”
“well you should” Takaki lowered his head and Hikaru saw how the almighty Takaki Yuya was seen so small. He hid his smile and clucked at the other teen.
“Takaki kun you may call me Hikaru from now on” Takaki head snapped back at him and he had stared at Hikaru with disbelieved eyes toward the younger one who was smiling so wide. Takaki was taken back by such an innocent smile, the smile he had dreamed of since the first time he laid his eyes on him.
“You can call me Yuya then” they both had a smile on their faces and Hikaru was more than glad when he just knew that he just got himself a boyfriend. Kota would be trilled when he heard about this.

“Ko chan I am sorry but I think I need to tell you something”
“is this about Takaki kun?”
They both were on their usual place under the tree while having their lunch break. Hikaru looked at his best friend and Kota looked back at him. They had a different expression and Hikaru couldn’t read his best friend at all. What was on his mind? Hikaru asked himself.
“how do you know?”
“actually Yu chan told me about you guys when he dragged me away yesterday”
“oh, then are you mad at me?”
“not really, I just really feel frustrated with all of this, I mean I did something wrong with Yuchan and Takaki kun, and now I discover something that I really didn’t expect coming from you, the only thing that I really don’t get from you is just why you didn’t tell me when Takaki kun confessed to you?”
“I was just confused and didn’t know what to do”
“do you like him also?” Kota had a serious face and Hikaru just nodded his head. He saw how Kota took a deep breath and Hikaru also did the same. They both felt into the comfortable silent and Hikaru mind went back to his new boyfriend, he did like the sound of it. This morning Yuya came picking him up and they walked together to school. Everyone at the whole school stared at them when they walked inside the school. Curious and confused stares were being directed to them, well mostly to Hikaru actually, he had felt uncomfortable and tried to keep a distant from Takaki, but then again his boyfriend looked at him and gave him reassurance smile which made Hikaru got light in his heart.
“Hika, you got that look on your face” Hikaru heard Kota teased him and he pouted at his only best friend.
“Ko chan stop making a fun of me”
“is having a boyfriend that great? I mean you really got that face you know, the face which full of happiness and you can’t stop smiling also”
“having someone likes you is great thing Ko chan, maybe you need to stop being mean to everybody and get yourself a boyfriend,”
“they were mean to me first, I don’t like the push over person by the way, but I am glad that everything was okay now”
“me too” they smiled at each other with relief. Well everything turned out well at the end.

“after you and Takaki left us, that jerk made a move on me and he made me very irritated. How could you Hikaru, I was very miserable yesterday.”
“so, you are not mad because I left with Takaki kun but you are mad at me because I left you alone?”
“of course, well did something happen with Takaki kun?”
“ehm, actually there is something when Takaki kun dragged me away from you guys yesterday”
“really?”
“but Ko chan I think it is not a problem for you anymore”
“are you sure?”
“yeah, I am sure, so why are you here?”
“just need to get away from Yu chan”
“something happen to Yu chan?” by now Hikaru made a room for Kota on the bed, the two best friend sat side by side and Kota took a deep breath before he answered Hikaru.
“I don’t really know what happen actually, he doesn’t want to talk to me, do you think that he is mad at me for what I did?”
“maybe, I mean we both know that Takaki kun has someone he likes already, so don’t you think that Yuta kun has no more chance with him?” Hikaru saw the helpless look on Kota face and cursed himself for being bad best friend, he was the one Takaki Yuya wanted as a lover, but did he brave enough to tell that fact to Kota?
Yuta was surely would have his heart broken if he did confess to Takaki, but, didn’t he just run away from Takaki yesterday? He didn’t give the boy a clear answer? He was sure that he didn’t say no or yes to Takaki? But the moment he ran away was it clear enough as a rejection? Or maybe not.
He really didn’t know what he had wanted with Takaki Yuya. He was shock enough with the confession let alone what should he do to replay Takaki.
He had no idea, really.
“Hika, what was you thinking? You are just spacing out on me?”
“nothing”
“you are weird”
One more thing that he hid from his best friend, first was about the love letter that he always got, and now this, Takaki Yuya love confession. He really was being a bad best friend.
Wait, Takaki Yuya had just confessed to him, did it mean he was the one who sent him the letters?
Maybe he needed to talk to Takaki once more time, to give him a clear answer and asking him about the letters. Yeah, Takaki deserved a proper answer for him.

The next day, Hikaru was trying to find Takaki Yuya, he was a year below him so it was kind a hard to find the boy, almost all the student knew Takaki Yuya, he could just ask one of them, but then again, he didn’t want to attract to much attention to him. He needed to find Takaki Yuya on his own.
After almost the whole break time he had spent looking for the older boy, Hikaru finally took a glimpse of Takaki figure walking with someone. He came to the said boy, and when he was closed enough he saw that the other figure who was standing close to Takaki was no other than Tamamori Yuta, it seemed that the both of them were talking to each other and with a far distance that Hikaru had between he and them, he couldn’t hear what they were talking about.
He just saw that Yuta had spoken something and Takaki replayed at him, he had the same smile at his face, the very smile that he gave to Hikaru for the whole day they were together.
The way Hikaru looked at them, he saw how good they were together like that, The both of them were good looking guy, they were a good people also, in Hikaru mind they should just date each other, Takaki deserved someone like Yuta.
With a hard feeling Hikaru turned around and walked away from the scene. He didn’t know but deep inside his heart he could hear something broke but he had tried to ignore it as he took another steps further away from the scene.

Yabu Kota was not someone to back away from something, especially that something that he had stared himself in the first place. He had felt the responsibility for making Yuta believed that he had a chance with Takaki, in fact he had zero chance. He had felt bad and he had the need to fix the problem. He had tried to look for Yuta and didn’t find him anywhere, he cursed himself for being such an lucky one. In the middle of his searching there was one guy whom he didn’t want to see the most blocked his way.
“what do you want?”
“nothing, are you looking for Yuta chan?”
“none of your business” he had tried to walk off from Fujigaya and he walked passed him, the boy had caught his arm in a tight grip, he turned and found Fujigaya smiled at him with so innocently.
“let me go” he had said it in a firm tone and he hoped that Fujigaya got the message.
“I will, but I need to ask you something first” he tried to struggle and failed miserably, it looked like that this guy didn’t have any will to let him go so after calming himself down he had looked at Fujigaya and glared at him.
“okay fine I will listen to you, but first you need to let me go”
“come on” totally ignoring him, the other guy tightened his grip on Kota and dragged the poor boy away, to the somewhere that Kota didn’t know.
Bad feeling and thought went through his mind. What would he do to him? Fujigaya was a bad news to him and now he had him in his arm, what would happen with him? that was the first time ever that Kota had felt that scared and hopeless, there was no Hikaru to help him out of this situation.
Turned our Fujigaya brought him to the back yard and they were standing under the bunches. The other teen made a silent signal and Kota made a confused face back at him, he pointed to something if front of him and that was the moment Kota understood, in front of them, standing Yuta and Takaki, they seemed to talk to each other, because of the short distance that they had, Kota could see the facial expression from the two people whom they were spying to, but they were not closed enough, so Kota couldn’t hear on what they were speaking. He had looked that the two of them had smile on their faces and Kota had a good feeling inside of him. So Yuta had took his advise and be a man for once, he had confronted his fear, he was so proud of him. smiling so wide also Kota stood up himself and wanted to walk away from the scene, he thought of giving his cousin a private time together with Takaki, but then again, it seemed that Fujigaya had another plan for him, the moment he saw Kota did that, he had caught his arm once again and made the other teen stopped what he was doing.
“what now” Kota had been so annoyed and when Fujigaya had him inside his arms, He was more than ready to explode. He had that scary look on his face and hoped that Fujigaya would let him go right this instance. He didn’t what to have something that Fujigaya had for him, so he started to struggle only to have the guy made a tighter grip on him.
He really hated this guy with all his heart, he was losing his patient and when he saw that the other guy that smirk on his face, he lost his compose for good.
He used the only thing that he could think of. Violence seemed to be a good option at the time like this.
“may I ask you something?”
“you already did”
“will you be my boyfriend?” when he heard that guy asked him out he stopped all his struggle and looked at the boy with a disbelieved look, did he hear right?.
While still in his shock state, he saw how Fujigaya leant forward and almost touched his face, he did the only thing that came out in his head, he hit the boy face with his fish, making the other boy stumbled back and holding his face, well served him right.
“do that to me once again, I will not hold myself again” he walked away with his head raised enough, after such a threat he was kind a proud of himself. Who he did think Yabu Kota was.
Leaving Fujigaya behind, all Kota wanted was looking for Hikaru, he still had the anger inside him and he needed to let it out, he just hoped that his younger best friend would help him.
He had found Hikaru at their usual place, the boy was holding his almost empty bento and seemed to think about something. Kota plopped down beside the younger one and made a temp to steal from Hikaru bento.
“hey Ko chan” Hikaru gave him a weak smile and Kota wondered did something happen with him?
“something wrong?”
“nothing, just thinking for myself”
“you know Hika, you can always talk to me when you have trouble mind, you know?”
“I know Ko chan, but I don’t have any trouble, so maybe we can save that for another day” they both had a silly grin on their faces and Kota was more than glad when he did have such a good best friend.
“I saw Takaki kun and Yuta kun talked a while ago” Hikaru opened his mouth while looking at his bento, Kota turned at him with a smile.
“yeah, I did to, it looked like that Yu chan finally had a courage and confessed to Takaki kun already”
“oh, good for him then”
“well don’t you think that they will end up together, I mean we do know that Takaki kun already has someone he likes right, so what will happen to Yu chan after this?” they both looked to each other and had the same thought, they had a clear image that Yu chan would get dumb by Takaki. For real
“I don’t know Ko chan” they both felt bad for Yuta, Kota really thought that he owed his cousin an apology for this, he really did.

“Ko chan” Yuta called his cousin. Later that night after such a good day, he had come to his cousin.
His saw Kota was just getting up from his bed and now looking at him with such a face. He walked further inside the room and sat down beside him on the bed.
“something wrong?”
“I confessed to Takaki kun today”
“yeah, I know”
“you do?, well what I was trying to say is I got dumb”
“oh, Yu chan I am so sorry, I knew that already,”
“knew already what?” he faced his cousin and saw that his cousin had an apology look on his face. He was kind of lost right now.
“when we went to amusement park, Takaki kun asked me what my purpose on inviting him in the first place, so I told him that I wanted to hock him up with you,”
“was he mad at you?”
“no, he just apologized to me, he told me that he has already have someone on his heart, so he is afraid that he will be hurting you, so I am so sorry Yu chan”
“yeah, he apologized to me also, but Ko chan do you know who is the one that Takaki kun mean?”
“you mean the one for his heart, no, he didn’t tell me”
“kay then,”
“how are you now?”
“I am fine actually, before the confession I was so afraid, but then again after I got to let it out I kind of feel more to relieved, I am still sad though, someone has just dumped me, but nothing I can’t handle, so don’t worry kay Ko chan”
His cousin hugged him tight and Yuta could feel that he was really worried and concern about him. For once Yuta didn’t have a heart to stay mad at him. He was so glad that this wonderful person was his cousin.
He knew that sometime Kota was too much in doing something that he had believed but then again he was truly a good boy who cared a lot about other people.
While being inside Kota embrace, Yuta mind was going back to his confession earlier that day. He had asked Takaki for his time, Takaki seemed to know on what his purpose, he just smiled when Yuta asked him to accompany him. They walked to the back yard of the school building and a very nervous Yuta had said that he liked him.
“I like you” he was so nervous and he was more than glad he did sound so compose and didn’t stutter at al. He had looked so scared in front of Takaki who had a gentle face. Looking at how Takaki face he had a bad feeling about it.
“I am glad that there is still someone who likes me, but I need to tell you I am sorry”
“oh, you don’t like me” did he sound so hurt just now?
“I have liked you as a friend”
“okay then, may I ask you something then?”
“yes?”
“why did you reject me? am I not good enough for you? Please just give me something”
“actually the reason why I always reject people so far is because I have already fallen in love with someone”
“wow, you really hide that well you know, there is no a single student in this school know that fact”
“yeah, I don’t wanna make a trouble for him”
“him?”
“yes, he was a year below us, so we really didn’t talk that much, I have no reason to come to him actually. I am so stupid” Takaki had that weak laugh and Yuta thought that maybe this Takaki Yuya that everyone had been crazy about was actually one of the silly boy that Yuta often to see, he was just so like him, getting afraid to confess and just watching the one he loved from far only.
Yuta saw himself in this boy and he felt pity toward Takaki.
“why don’t you confess already, who will reject the Takaki Yuya” he had meant that as a joke, but when Takaki saw him his bitter laugh, he had thought that he was saying something wrong.
“I did get rejection, I saw an opportunity, I confessed and he rejected me”
“I am so sorry Takaki kun I didn’t mean to”
“it’s okay Tamamori kun, I am okay, I mean I kind of scared him actually”
“what do you mean?”
“I kissed him out of the blue and he ran away”
“well everybody will be shock, it is a normal reaction, maybe he just needed a time to adjust everything , I mean, you just kiss him, give him a time and then maybe you can confess again”
“you really think so?”
“I really do think so, may I know who is this lucky guy?”
“you know him actually, It’s Yaotome kun”
“Hikaru kun? then that was why you took off with him the other day at the amusement park?”
“yeah, I just thought that it was my chance and I took it.”
“but he ran away from you?”
“hm,”
“well maybe you just need to ask him once again, Hikaru kun is a good kid, you get a good catch”
Takaki had smile at him and Yuta felt his heart went beating so fast, he still had a feeling toward the boy indeed.
“hey want me to help you?”
“help me?”
“I do think that you still have a chance with Hikaru kun, so why not?”
“you do? Thank you so much”
After the last smile Yuta and Takaki bid goodbye toward each other and Yuta smiled at himself, he did it, and he still had a mission to do, the operation to hock Takaki and Hikaru up began.

It was pure intentional for the four of them to meet in a such a place. Well maybe not for Yuta. He had planned it before, he had asked his cousin to go with him to the mall, he told Kota that he needed to clear his mind after getting dumb, Kota agreed immediately, but then again with an apology smile he told his cousin that he already had a plan with Hikaru, they both wanted to go to the mall also, Hikaru needed to buy a present for his dad. Without so much hesitated Yuta told his cousin that he didn’t mind going with Hikaru also.
In Yuta heart he had found the perfect chance for Takaki to have his happiness, so he texted the boy and told him to meet him at the mall, he was with his cousin and his best friend. Takaki said he would be there and Yuta hid his smile.
The three of them walked around and Kota and Hikaru was so busy looking for the said present while Yuta was busy looking at his phone, he kept Takaki update on where they were. He walked behind Kota and when he felt that his phone vibrated he flipped it opened. He saw the message that was coming from Takaki and he read the message.
Takaki was just standing in front of Yabu and Hikaru, the three of them had a surprise look on their faces, well maybe Kota and Hikaru was honest with their facial expression, but Yuta was sure Takaki was faking it.
“Takaki kun, what are you doing here?” Kota was the one who snapped back to the reality first.
“walking around, what are you guys doing?”
“shopping,” Yuta came forward and smiled at the new guy.
“hi, Tamamori kun”
“Yuta will be fine” he stepped in and facing Takaki kun, he took a glance on his corner of eyes at Hikaru and he had seen how uncomfortable the boy was. He kind of felt a little jealous with this Hikaru, he meant, what did Hikaru have and he didn’t have in order for Takaki fell in love with him? but then again if we were talking about love, there was no rational reason for someone to fall in love for someone else right, he took a deep breath and trying to erase all the negative feeling inside his heart. He told Takaki that he would help him, and so he would do that. Whatever happen, if the worst scenario happened to Takaki, let’s say Hikaru kept rejecting him, Yuta was so ready to step forward and comforted him, he still liked Takaki after all.
“want to join us Takaki kun?”
“okay, I have nothing to do actually”
“well okay,” Kota gave Takaki a smile and he walked ahead with Hikaru in tow. Leaving Yuta and Takaki to follow them.
“are you sure about this Yuta kun. Yaotome kun didn’t even see me at all”
“give him time, when the time ready, I want you to take your chance carefully okay”
“okay, I will try, Yuta kun, thank you”
“no problem” they exchanged smile and Yuta felt kind of warm feeling enveloped him in a way that he had liked it.

They had been feeling tired already, they had walked around the mall after all, too bad Hikaru still hadn’t found the one he was looking for, actually his mind was not working properly whenever Takaki Yuya was near him. His brain stopped function right when he saw how closed Takaki to him. The four of them had already decided to stop by at the café that Hikaru and Kota liked to stop by a lot, they sold a really good sushi and Hikaru mood went down to the worst when he was sitting right in front of Takaki. He wouldn’t that mind when Takaki didn’t mind him at all, he meant didn’t he have a date with Yuta, then why he had to look at him that way? This was so the first time for Hikaru to be threat like this, Takaki saw him with so much tenderness and love and he had felt so suffocated when he had locked his gaze with Takaki brown big eyes. His so beautiful eyes reflected love and that love was being directed to him only.
He knew that already, he could see the love that Takaki Yuya had for him. But then there was something which made his heart hurt whenever he saw it. He didn’t know what was the cause. He felt so confuse with his own feeling and he didn’t like it.
“I want one set of sushi and lemon tea please”
“I will have the same”
“Hikaru?” he turned to look at his best friend when he heard him call him.
“I will have ramen and orange juice please”
“Takaki kun?” Yuta had asked Takaki and the boy had said something sounded like.
“I will have the same at Yaotome kun please”
“okay that’s all”
The waiter disappeared and while waiting for their orders the three of them decided to chat among themselves, leaving Hikaru stayed still on his seat and didn’t have any idea on what should he say.
Several minutes later all their orders were served and after a shout of ‘Itadakimasu’ they started to dig in. Hikaru ate his ramen in silent and just heard the other three of his friend talked among themselves. One time he had seen such an intimate act was being done by none other Takaki and Yuta, and he felt so much tightness inside his heart. Why did it feel so hurt seeing them together?
Ignoring all of that Hikaru focused on his ramen and tried to empty his mind. He didn’t want to look so pathetic, murmuring something that he had no right, he did run away from Takaki the other day, so didn’t it mean that he had rejected the other teen right? So why he did feel a great regret invented his heart? What would happen with them if he didn’t run away. Would he and Takaki talked with so much happiness and be a great couple at the end? He really doubted it.
He was no match for The Takaki Yuya, that was for sure.
“Ko chan would you mind accompany me to buy something, I think I need it”
“okay, wait until we finish all the food and then we can go together”
“no, let’s go now” after said so he stood up and dragged his cousin up and walked further from their table, Kota was too surprise to do anything, so he just stayed still while his cousin walked them away from Hikaru and Takaki.
Hikaru had to blink for a couple of times before he registered that the two of them had left him and Takaki alone.
He took a glance at Takaki awkwardly and found out that the boy had looked at him straight on his eyes. He gulped his saliva and when he was about to stand up, Takaki stopped him.
“I think we need to talk”
They were facing each other and Hikaru couldn’t take his eyes from Takaki gaze, he was too captivated by such a gaze and he didn’t know how to open his mouth also.
“sit down” Hikaru did that and Takaki leant forward.
“why did you ran away from me?” Hikaru mind was getting back at the memory of their shared kiss and in an instance he was blushing.
“am I getting the wrong impression and being too confident?” Takaki kept going and Hikaru was still in his silent self.
“won’t you talk to me?”
“I don’t know” finally Hikaru opened his mouth and spoke with a whisper.
“do you like me?” Takaki asked him with not much confident in is tone, he had looked so helpless also in Hikaru eyes. Hikaru took a deep breath before he spoke.
“why do you like me? I mean you are the Takaki Yuya and I am just nobody, are you sure you like me?”
“I have liked you since a year ago, what makes you think I am not serious?”
“a year ago?” Hikaru asked him back in disbelieved sound.
“yeah,”
“but why I never saw you came to me?”
“ah I have no confident at all, I did feel like a fool when I thought back for the whole times I have wasted, I should come to you sooner”
“well you should” Takaki lowered his head and Hikaru saw how the almighty Takaki Yuya was seen so small. He hid his smile and clucked at the other teen.
“Takaki kun you may call me Hikaru from now on” Takaki head snapped back at him and he had stared at Hikaru with disbelieved eyes toward the younger one who was smiling so wide. Takaki was taken back by such an innocent smile, the smile he had dreamed of since the first time he laid his eyes on him.
“You can call me Yuya then” they both had a smile on their faces and Hikaru was more than glad when he just knew that he just got himself a boyfriend. Kota would be trilled when he heard about this.

“Ko chan I am sorry but I think I need to tell you something”
“is this about Takaki kun?”
They both were on their usual place under the tree while having their lunch break. Hikaru looked at his best friend and Kota looked back at him. They had a different expression and Hikaru couldn’t read his best friend at all. What was on his mind? Hikaru asked himself.
“how do you know?”
“actually Yu chan told me about you guys when he dragged me away yesterday”
“oh, then are you mad at me?”
“not really, I just really feel frustrated with all of this, I mean I did something wrong with Yuchan and Takaki kun, and now I discover something that I really didn’t expect coming from you, the only thing that I really don’t get from you is just why you didn’t tell me when Takaki kun confessed to you?”
“I was just confused and didn’t know what to do”
“do you like him also?” Kota had a serious face and Hikaru just nodded his head. He saw how Kota took a deep breath and Hikaru also did the same. They both felt into the comfortable silent and Hikaru mind went back to his new boyfriend, he did like the sound of it. This morning Yuya came picking him up and they walked together to school. Everyone at the whole school stared at them when they walked inside the school. Curious and confused stares were being directed to them, well mostly to Hikaru actually, he had felt uncomfortable and tried to keep a distant from Takaki, but then again his boyfriend looked at him and gave him reassurance smile which made Hikaru got light in his heart.
“Hika, you got that look on your face” Hikaru heard Kota teased him and he pouted at his only best friend.
“Ko chan stop making a fun of me”
“is having a boyfriend that great? I mean you really got that face you know, the face which full of happiness and you can’t stop smiling also”
“having someone likes you is great thing Ko chan, maybe you need to stop being mean to everybody and get yourself a boyfriend,”
“they were mean to me first, I don’t like the push over person by the way, but I am glad that everything was okay now”
“me too” they smiled at each other with relief. Well everything turned out well at the end.
