To kick off Women's History Month Sonali Kolhatkar, host of KPFK/90.7FM/Pacifica Radio's popular drivetime program "Uprising", will speak on Thursday, March 2nd at 6:30pm in Marsee Auditorium. The topic of her lecture is: The Forgotten War in Afghanistan: Washington, Warlords and Women's Rights.
Sonali is also the co-director of the Afghan Women's Mission. She has spoken widely at college campuses, conferences, churches and community centers about US policies in Afghanistan and their impact on the people, particularly Afghani women.
