Well... it's over now...

I'm all detonsilized. Things are better today, in that I don't feel as lethargic or dizzy or nauseous. I still have some trouble swallowing, which is to be expected. My uvula is also swollen which makes breathing with my mouth closed rather difficult... but it's not as bad as last night... I couldn't really sleep well 'cause I had to sleep with my mouth open so I could breathe... I could not exhale through my nose at all while lying down... but having my mouth opened resulted in my throat drying out... which is bad... so I woke up like every half hour or so to drink some water to wet my throat, which made me need to pee more as well... buuuut, it's getting better. I feel like I could actually do stuff, ya know, if I could drive, which I'm not supposed to do since I'm taking roxicet and amoxycillin. But anyway, that's the story so far... I'm going to go finish my lunch of berry sherbet...

Oh, one more thing... big hugs and thanks to Phil, who tended to me and stayed last night to make sure I didn't start hemorrhaging or any other of the number of potentially bad things that might have happened =)
